Homely and humble Theo is about overwhelmed with emotion at Alordan's offer of the gift of his sword and the chainmail. Nobody has much gifted him anything since his kindly granny used to give him hot cross buns. Thank you, Alordan, he says. Without further ado, he begins unbuckling his ordinary (but recently cleaned) chainmail to put on the fine set.

He considers Grimble's and Grumble's offer. He's no merchant or expert on such things, but if the gnome brothers are offering it, he suspected that the deal's no good. Really no good. He looks around at the others, eye-signing to them as much.

Hearing the Gnome's offer she looks up and sees the young ranger mid armor change making odd eye contact with her and the others "Well if you know what it is or likely what it is share so we can fairly decide on your offer?

The Ethereal Job
Androns Cat Farm
The Dark Rock

Grimble looks the ring over again, admiring it greatly.

"Are you serious? None of you knows what this ring is? The ring with 4 settings, but only one very fine stone remaining? You cant even offer up a guess?"

He and his gnomish brother give each other a shoulder shrug.

"How have you made it so far in life with such a limited grasp of magical things? Did the odd looking fellow who disappeared do all the thinking for you?"

Actions?
The total treasure haul ends up looking like this:
Approximately 14,000gp in gold or platinum coins, gems, jewelry, and trinkets.

*A very fine shield.
*A wooden Staff.
*A Brass Horn.
*A Silver Tork.
*A velvet bag containing a few oddly shaped colored stones. Ioun Stones
*One Ring: this ring is pure gold and has 3 indentations where small gems might have once been set. Only one tiny diamond remains in a final fourth setting.

Alordan eyes the brothers and their passionate debate about the ring and follows with a shrug. "I wish I knew. Swords, now, that is something that I like to know about - and this one here is fine. My old one is fine, too, just not as fine."
If we do move forward with handing these swords around, my old is +1. If we are still debating distribution, which I'm totally fine with, just let me know.

Theo
""Wish?" It's a ring of wishes, with one wish still remaining? We should use it to get back to the tavern, with all of this stuff.

The Ethereal Job
Solutions?
The Dark Rock

The gnomes both nod their heads at Theo when he suggests it is a Ring of Wishes.

Grimble furrows his brow. "We already have a means to get back to the tavern, in a few days time. I'm not wasting something as powerful as a Wish on a damn free ride."

Theo admires the fine enchanted chainmail he's wearing. He imagines he looks rather dashing and heroic. Too bad there's no mirror around for a better view.

Since it looks like they'll be here for a while, he decides to try his luck with taking another stone from the bag (if there are any left). He hopes he won't regret that later....

Torbath

Torbath gives a stare at Theo, with a neutral expression and does not say a word. He then resets his gaze and says, "Theo, before you take a third item lets agree on the split between us the the gnomes. Especially since I have yet to get anything."

Alordan hangs back as the others discuss the wondrous items. He keeps an eye and ear on the tunnels for any unexpected visitors. He stretches and winces as his battered bruises take time to heal.

Theo face turns beet red. Oh, sorry, he stammers. This armor should be included in the things to split up then. It's still clean and like brand new, by the way.

Torbath

"You offered to take the coffer and its contents, the horn, the tork, and this RING. You agreed to split this 50/50 and that is clearly an over claim. The coffer is the only way to carry a lot of this treasure back so half the treasure of the coffer should go to each group. The ring is the most powerful item with the coffer of holding being another powerful claim.

I would propose

Gnomes get the
*One Ring: this ring is pure gold and has 3 indentations where small gems might have once been set. Only one tiny diamond remains in a final fourth setting.
*A very fine shield.
*A locked platinum coffer with the initials GWT etched into the lid: Coffer of Holding filled w/ coins and gems (WITH HALF THE CONTENTS)
*From the Approximately 14,000gp in gold or platinum coins, gems, jewelry, and trinkets. (HALF THE VALUE)

Heroes Get
*A locked platinum coffer with the initials GWT etched into the lid: Coffer of Holding filled w/ coins and gems (HALF THE CONTENTS WHEN WE GET BACK)
*From the Approximately 14,000gp in gold or platinum coins, gems, jewelry, and trinkets. (HALF THE VALUE)
Maag - *A Brass Horn.
Alordan - *A beautiful looking Longsword. +3
Theo - *An equally beautiful looking set of Chainmail and +2 CON Ioun Stone
Feanol - *A wooden Staff and +2 STR Ioun Stone
Torbath - *A Silver Tork and +2 INT Ioun Stone

One more Ioun stone for each the gnomes and the heroes.

What say you all."
