Cyril makes another disturbing request to Azathoth, healing himself back to perfect health, but at what cost?

Taibhse helps cure Belloc as well, using his medicine man skills, to a lesser degree.

Kain looks over the statue next, guessing it's made of jade, holding a value of a few hundred gold pieces.

Ceana moves into the next chamber, finding what she believes is a makeshift mining operation, complete with forge, raw minerals, chunks of ore, and racks of heavily used tools. There doesn't appear to be anything of value among them.

Sik moves to the lower tunnel, unable to see very far with the light behind him. He doesn't spot any danger, but does smell a strange sulphuric oder mixed with another oily smell coming from the darkness beyond.

Once the Dwarf with its hands tied is able to move again, he listens to Belloc for about 2 seconds before attempting to bolt across the floor to the exit of the cave. As expected, he doesn't seem all that interested in making conversation.

"Something stinky down here - I think that's where they fled," he says before letting out a bestial howl down the cavern, meant to intimidate whatever remains.

Upon seeing the dwarf attempting to flee, Sik chases after him and will attempt to tackle the dwarf to the floor.

To hit: [1d20+1]=13+1=14 (Overbear)

Drest attempts to block the dwarf's attempt to flee. Move 50, using Overbear (pg 271) if he reaches the dwarf this round.

"Interesting, he either knows there is no place for him to go in the caverns, or he knows that where he wants to get is outside of this cavern. My thoughts are they were just here in these chambers and were afraid of whatever is beyond it. In fact their willingness to let us go on into the caverns combined with their belligerence says they didn't think we'd survive going on."

The druid checks out the room a little closer, searching through the tools and ore...just in case.
When she hears shouts and scrambling out in the main chamber, she hurries back to the entrance to watch the others try and wrangle the fleeing dwarf.

Sik growls loudly into the smelly darkness but gets no reply.

Kainaxarthos bags up the jade statue, thinking it must be worth enough to carry it around with him.

A few closer members of the group attempt to tackle the Dwarf as he flees towards the doorway, nearly plowing over the top of Xenos in the process. It gets past all of them, but Drest could probably catch the escapee, if he is willing to continue the chase beyond the confines of the cave.

Cyril calls out about the maggot, but doesnt even get an angry look.

Finding nothing of value or interest, Ceana returns in time to see the Dwarf get away, as does Sik, who was too far away to challenge the thing.

Most of the party doesn't even bother giving chase, unconcerned if one crazed Dwarf gets out alive.

The rest of the cave complex remains dark and quiet and smelly.
