Just a reminder of the scene. The party travelled down a 7'-8' wide tunnel about 80' in total to get to the room you were checking out. They asked Hex and Raffi to move back with their light sources (about 60' feet) and then everyone else put out the light to get their infravision back (or in Garrant case just being almost blind). As this happens, the gnome and halfling are apparently attacked by glowing giant beetles coming from the Highway.
Hex and Raffi attack in HTH, but do not harm any of the beetles, but they do call out for help.
Everyone wants to react. Anyone looking at the combat and focusing on the light will lose their infravision (from the light, nothing permanent).
The rear guard at this point is Frannie and she uses her sling to try and attack the beetle at 60' (Medium Range) and right into the bright light. This is a miss. Then Androgost tries to move around Frannie and run up the corridor. He runs into the bright light and will be able to attack next round, but does block much of the corridor for the others.
Boff and Qleceec pull of their bows, but realize that there is no shot available. Garrant moves to the side in case others want to move past.
Siouxsie, Boff and even Qleceec can have the option to have moved up 30' towards the encounter, and Androgost is coming up to be able to help Hex next round.

Androgost engages with the creatures. Glad for some exercise after the struggle with the mud trap.

rRaffi will make a careful retreat, moving back towards the ranger if he can.
Hex will let the warriors take charge of the remaining beetles backing out the other way slowly, and watching behind in case more arrive. Or something else is drawn by the noise.

Qleceec filling the back gap quickly eliminates a two giant fire beetle and then Garrant who must have moved up when people were not watching fires a series of magic missiles that kills the last remaining creature. Two of the six giant fire beetles still have glowing glands, but the damage was to much for the remaining four and the glands were damaged in the fight.
No immediate creatures have moved into react to the group during this combat either from the Highway or the room with the small stream that Nah Olos and the others are waiting at.
Please feel free to give directions about getting back in line, finishing up with the giant beetles or moving into the room as you would like.
