Re: Expedition planning and discussions
Moriartus is planning an expedition to a hidden sacred grove of Sylvanus located north of the Thornswild forest. The blight killing the bees at the Crooked Hive village is thought to have originated at this grove. A deliberate corruption by agents of Impurax targetting a moot of the treants to infect and spread the contagion.

Re: Expedition planning and discussions
This Spider silk trek would indeed open a new expedition thread, I wouldn't be able to fast track going there and back as I did with some NPC's. With that in mind, Durgo could set off as soon as he is ready and probably return within the game calender to theoretically join a trek scheduled to leave in a few days time.I'll check and see if any of my friends will join me on the spider silk run or I'll hire a merc if necessary.
But practically in real life, I am gearing towards Moriartus and others concluding Helix downtime within a couple of weeks. (This allows one or two new players to get involved and perhaps other expeditions returning so folk can mix and mingle).
Which would mean Cwreando and any others probably opting out of the Blight trek as a spider silk trek might take a real life month to conclude.
Hope that makes sense.

Durgo
After discussing things with all those concerned Durgo and Fydmar will do a scout run of a mine entrance, spider silk run and if feasible meet up with Moriatus’ expedition.

Re: Expedition planning and discussions
I have opened your expedition thread entitled Silk and Silver.
Re: Expedition planning and discussions
I am working towards getting Moriartus, Dougal, Raven, Jorly, Cadeweed back on the expedition trail over this next week.
So conclude any Helix activity and I will try to move things forward.
Let me know if I have missed any of your preparation or you still await a response for any downtime questions or actions.

Re: Expedition planning and discussions
Lots of updates pending in Bogtown and Helix to get expeditions moving forward and a bit of weekend racing in Cheltenham.
Finish any Helix downtime and I will try to wrap up any outstanding issues.

Re: Expedition planning and discussions
Cadeweed will seek out Moriartus an request an invisibility spell be cast on him the night before we leave so that Moriartus can start with a full spell list.

Acknowledged. Moriartus will provide the spell.
Re: Expedition planning and discussions
I have unlocked the Climate Crisis: Sacred Grove thread, so you can post any last actions to cover anything I have missed as you leave town.
Re: Expedition planning and discussions
Just as some folk are preparing to leave town, can each of those going in the Adventurers Guild Expeditions, which has a provisional date to leave as June 27th, account for their days of down time in Helix.
So for example: Sven returns to Helix on June 9th. Spends two weeks in creating new spell until June 23rd, spends 24th-25th in 2nd level spell transcription.
I count a 'week devoted to spell learning or class upgrade of skills' as a five day, forty hour set aside so outside of that is fellowship time in the taverns or BRAG HQ.
I just want to make sure we have a cut off for squeezing in all the activity. In the above, Sven casting an Identify spell might then add further delay to the set off deadline.

Vann Hector returned on May 26th, took a week to recover lost hp, (June 3rd), took another two weeks to work on thieves skills upgrades. (til June 18th)
Rest of time spent in tavern fellowship.
