Algrim sees.

A large fireplace with a bake oven on one side suggests that this room was once the kitchen. It was also used as a work area to butcher animals and preserve gathered foods. The smoke hood is exceptionally tall,
with several hooks inside for hanging meat to smoke. The only remaining furniture is a marble cutting block, scored with hundreds of knife cuts.

Keep in mind that these are just quick look around and maybe walk through. No one had specified ant detailed searching yet in any of the lower rooms.

Algrim will spend the time to do a more thorough search of the kitchen area. "What do ya expect Turnip it's hundreds of years old ya know."

Arngeir

While Algrim checks out the kitchen more thoroughly, Arngeir will do a quick check of the other doors just to see what is beyond each one.

Arngeir makes a quick circuit of the room and Algrim checks the room off the kitchen.

Another bedroom (no furniture).

A pantry.

Privy - This peculiar little room has a low bench with a hole in it. Under the bench, in line with the hole, there is a circular depression in the floor.

Portcullis – The outer door leads into a short entry shaft blocked by a portcullis. The solid steel alloy grill is coated with some sort of enameling (like the grills protecting the chimneys). It is tarnished but not rusted and the core of the metal is still solid. The portcullis is overlooked by crossbow loops on both sides and a murder hole above.

Actually there are 2 murder holes above, one by the door into the hall and 1 by the portcullis.

Which areas do you want to search first?

Arngeir searches the first bedroom and finds a loose stone in the floor of the far corner.

Algrim and Turnip search the kitchen, they don't find anything they haven't already noted but as they search Turnip is searching the hair on the back of her neck stands up.

Turnip knows this is one of her feelings. What she isn't sure about yet is if it is Prescience or Medium.

Arngeir draws his knife (or dagger if not too big) and tries to carefully prise the stone out.

Turnip suddenly stops searching.

"Hold on, I can feel something, can you?"

She looks around, confused, and then backtracks into the hall to sense if the sensation grows stronger of fainter there.

Algrim goes to see what Turnip is doing and watches in confusion or maybe fascination.

Arngeir is kneeling down with his dagger out, preparing to try to pry a floor stone up when he suddenly grows colder.

Algrim is standing back and to the side of Turnip as she mentions feeling something.

Turnip walks towards Arngeir and suddenly she sees a translucent dwarven figure standing next to Arngeir, he isn't holding anything in his hands but is clearly watching him.

Turnip's
Medium (power 1) passively activated. She can perceive and communicate with any ethereal (ghost) within 12 feet for the next 4 minutes. She is currently at the edge of her 12 foot range. Algrim and Arngeir can not see the ghost at this point.

Arngeir stands and looks around for a draft or cause of the sudden change.

"It got colder in here, yes?" he calls out

Turnip takes a step, just one, into the room and stops there.
She addresses the etheral. "Greetings master dwarf. What brings you here a day like this? May I be of some assistance?"

I am ruling that Arngeir and Algrim can hear Turnip's side of the conversation but not the dwarfs. Also, if Arngeir uses Disembodiment he will also be able to see and communicate with the ghost. If the ghost wishes to expend his energy he can also make himself visible and/or audible for a short while.

The dwarven ghost turns towards Turnip when he hears her, as he does Arngeir feels another chill.

In a heavy accent, "What brings you hear? You speak some dialect of the invaders I struggle to fully understand. You have a Khuzdul with you but he does not address me, is he mute?"

Turnip holds her hand up to her two friends, signaling to stay calm.

"They cannot hear you master Dwarf. This might sound strange but we are not from your time, and you are not from our time. We are like faeries in your world, as are you in ours. Think of us as visitors, not invaders. Are you looking for something? You look tired."

Turnip is exceptionally intelligent so I'm playing her smart.
