"I mean, sure. Valkrina, will you join us? I mean, visiting a brothel must beat dreaming that you're drowning, right?"

Tuurma smiles, empties her mug of ale, burps loudly and rises.

"Shall we?"
Brothel Dreaming Drowning is actually not a bad album name.

Album name? Why not a band name? Death Metal, with loads of pyrotechnics at the live shows and brass knuckles allowed in the mosh pit!

I’ve got this situation with my delusional mother-in-law involved in an act of violence and I’m dealing with the fallout right now. Just letting you know I’m not posting until this is all resolved.

Hey, look what I found in the garbage room of our apartment building! Swedish original fantasy dungeon crawler board game from the 80s. Brings back the memories...

The character had stats and special abilities like crossbow, fireball spell etcetera. The knight had plate mail, but if you accidentally drew a "walk the plank over the shaft" tile you were sort of screwed. Turns were limited, countdown until sunset when all characters still in the castle auto died. There was a dragon with a hoard in the middle, the one who made it out with the most gp won the game. This thing was deadly!

That looks fun. It reminds me of the old school boardgames played here in the
Old School Board Game Parlor Maybe you’d be up for running this? See how Dungeon! and Warlocks & Warriors and others were played via post.

Really cool!

And in swedish, no less. Even cooler :D

I was born in the late 80s, but man how I miss the stuff from that period. I grew up with a lot of the films, books and games of that era.

I still remember the first time I played Hero Quest. If I only could go back...

I'll definitely consider it! How did you go along with the physical board for the duration of the game? Did it stay on a table in your basement? I'm a little concerned that my children will wreck havoc upon it if it stays within reach...

If you are posting pictures every turn you could always re-build the board from the pictures if need be.

Yes, I had a safe space to keep the board.

I assume that means you don't have cats- I personally have trouble finding a 'safe place' for anything, unless I put it in the microwave and shut the door.

Unfortunately real life and work factors necessitate a reduction in most of my gaming :( Great playing with you all and thanks for DMing OM.
