I know you were kidding :D

I'm at the office and think of several things at the same time, so forgot to write something less serious-looking

Considering the amount of books I have at home and haven't read for years, it's a realistic prospect.

I see some of you doing ability checks vs 2d6+1. Is that Hyperborea standard? I couldn't find any entry in the player's guide on "ability checks".

Yes, I see that. Not quite sure why I had that macro in my stored sheets, I must have used it before for a check of some kind.

I know Strength, Dex and Constitution use a d6 roll.

My mistake.

I can’t explain some of the rolls I’ve seen posted either.

Just a quick note about posting.....

As you may have already noticed, I like to try to keep the posting pace in my games as robust as possible, hoping that keeps players thinking and engaged, consequently posting actions regularly. If you are consistently late with posts, or if I see you checking into the site but not posting an action here, I will likely skip your character in order to keep the action moving for the players who are posting consistently. This will be especially true if we have already been waiting around for a day or two.

If there is some reason you are checking into the site, yet unable to post when you do so, please let me know that so I don't think you are simply ignoring this game and looking around elsewhere.

Thanks!

*looks left and right* Finally realization dawns. As having been guilty of this many, many times, all I can say is I'm trying. Sometimes I have less time than I think and stuff pulls me away. I've gotten in the bad habit of reading the ooc stuff or the threads where I'm not directly involved first. Sometimes running out of time before I update important threads. Like now. Damn.

*goes off to update threads*

I’m not trying to call anyone out at all.

I just want to make sure I’m not skipping players because of some unforeseen communication issues or something like that.

If anyone was wondering, I'm NOT trying to play "The Mysterious Edgelord." I'm trying for a quiet badass vibe- but I'm not sure it's working.

If it makes you feel any better, Bob, I'm still trying to figure out Ceana's personality.
I need to read more of my REH books for background and context ;)

It seems we have another interested HYPERBOREA player who wants to join in on the fun.

Please help me in welcoming Tamerlaine to the game.

I am looking forward to seeing what kind of character concept he chooses.
