I have a couple friends who will be very happy to hear that.

Hey, how do you post your image straight into the post and not as an attachment? Looks better.

I use an image hosting site like this one:
https://postimages.org/

Once you've uploaded your pic, then choose the Hotlink for Forums option and you can paste it directly into your post.

It's actually been a while since I was in a face to face game. I like the PDFs. It's less clutter, and they're all on hand when I need them.

We are getting closer here everyone.

I am seeing some really great builds so far and am anxious to get this one started.

I will be coming up with a hook/rumor/plot line for each character that I will post in private where we can discuss. There is no obligation to do anything with the information you are given, but I wanted everyone to have something to think about as we slowly spread out into the game.

Hello All,

Happy to be on the PC side on the ground floor of a new adventure. It's been a while since playing with some of you - Hedge I remember Derwin from my 'The Evil That Men Do' in '14 (with one of OM's first PbP characters, Sulle the Red, in that same game.)

My character is Biblo Phyle, an antiquarian collector and obsessive in search of bookish knowledge, preferably magical, from books, scrolls and ephemera. I created him in 2015 for a game here - Mister Kent's Dungeonesque, an atmospherically well done but short-lived game the DM left after six months. I then adapted him in 2016 for Inferno's Lost City of the Pharaohs, but that was also short-lived as I went on hiatus for several years. So I'm bringing Biblo back here in somewhat altered form. At 6 HP, I'll play conservatively in combat and expect a short happy life

I had some thoughts which may complement yours.

"The love of books is among the choicest gifts of the gods," murmured Biblo, running his hands along the spines as he moved through the meadering rows of shelves to the large table in the center of the great hall. His collection was housed in its own section in the library of the Guild of the Learned Coven of Antiquarian Scribes in Khromarium.

Reaching the table, Biblo saw another robed man. "Greetings Talanian, it is good to see you again!"

"Another expedition I hear?" said Talanian.

"Books and scrolls not only furnish a room, they furnish a mind. I must have more! So yes, another bout of travel to see what Fate has in store. It's also a working trip. Three wizards - an Atlantean, Hyperborean, and Ixian - have given me lists of desired spell components and certain objects for which they will pay handsomely."

Biblo spread a map out on the large table:

"From Yithorium in the north, in the Zakath Desert, I'll be taking a caravan to explore the region," explained Biblo. "The port town of Xambaala is one such stop. Think of the discoveries that lay ahead, scrolls and books of new cultures and lands!"

"Wandering windswept wastelands sounds more like it," said Talanian skeptically. "You'll get yourself killed. You know the ageless witch-queen rules Yithorium?"

"That is part of the reason I'm going," said Biblo cryptically.

Love the ghul reference! :D

I am about half done with plot hooks, and we are getting close to having all the sheets in.

But, I will be attending a local gaming convention this weekend, so I likely wont have a lot of time to work on this game for the next couple of days.

If I can sneak a few posts in, I will, but otherwise we will reconvene on Monday.

Have a great weekend everyone!
