Re: Chapter 05: Round the bend
Korin keeps following Tiny beside him and keeps an eye around them checking by looking around them as they go.

Re: Chapter 05: Round the bend
Stopping for a moment at this intersection, Tiny and Korin here see a 15'-20':ish wide passage going right ('southwest'), which may or may not end in a wall (the torch light only reaches a bit), and a similar, opposite, mirror corridor going 'northwest', of the same possible but uncertain length. All walls in these corridors are lined with the same kind of stone slabs from floor to ceiling, as is the part that continues straight ahead ('south east'). Meaning: you are at a 'crossroads' with identical slab walled corridors in all four directions.

Korin follows not talking to try and keep to the stealthier approach to moving on.

Re: Chapter 05: Round the bend
Thorelf is about to say something (witty), but stops himself in the last moment as he notices the group's new stealthier approach.
He continues along, following Korin down the corridor, keeping watch. This looks calm. Almost too calm.

Re: Chapter 05: Round the bend
Warily tiptoeing forward, the group continue along the walls of countless stone slabs on all sides. Each bearing an obscure inscription....
After about 40' from the previous 'crossing', the corridor opens up into a larger hall of some kind.
The soothing, whispery sound provides an eerie backdrop to the solemn surroundings...

Korin if not already carrying a torch will do the same as Tiny working around from the opposite direction that Tiny started from.

All present please roll 1d20 each
You enter the square shaped hall, from its corner as it were. Already to the left and right, corridors shoot off in 'northern' and 'western' directions - possibly there are even more openings along its walls and it looks like the main corridor continues straight ahead. But you cannot see that far clearly just yet, because right in the middle of this - domed - area [28] stands a 5' high platform with a nasty-looking statue on it. It is of a skeleton, made out of metal, and it is 15' high.

Korin nods his head and whispers back "Yeah, can't tell what language it be though."
