Re: Return to the Barrow Mounds:
Thanks! The pressure is really getting to young Sven. He’s starting to crack.

Re: Return to the Barrow Mounds:
Seems like we may get out of this one yet folks!
I must say that the twists and turns of the last few encounters we've had in here have been excruciatingly delightful.

Re: Return to the Barrow Mounds:
May 4th 1066.
Barrow Maze.
Jerome's Chamber.
12.05am. Candlelight lantern (Sven) & Fire Beetle glands.
After the enforced sleep put on the quartet, they all eventually awake, the hours now past midnight.
Sven is alive and kicking and currently stroking the fur of a blue eyed wolf.
Gerdal is still in the mud cast but awake.
next actions please.

Gerdal
wakes up, looks around without breaking the cast.
"Where....where are we? In the chamber with the skull? Where are the skeletons? And where did that wolf come from?"
Maybe GM can describe the current visual of the room? Are there like crates packed with stuff here? What remains on the shelves/tables etcetera?

Orgoth
Orgoth shakes the sleepiness off. mumbling, "What the, crap a wolf." He looks around for his spear and slowly reaches for it. "Svenn, is your new friend friendly?"

Re: Return to the Barrow Mounds:
Isvand quickly hops to his feet, the wolf would be highly concerning if Sven weren't calmly stroking its fur. Uhm, Sven, who's your new friend. We appear to have all our bits, which is good, I think. .... So what's up with He waves his hands around at everything. As Sven answers, he will gather up anything he dropped, and get ready for what comes next.
If the hour is past midnight - not sure how long we were out... It might make sense to hole up here to sleep & recover spells. It's probably safe now.

Re: Return to the Barrow Mounds:
Sven maintains his silence for a moment, hoping to raise the suspense in the room.
(Sorry! Waiting for some info.)

Barrow Maze.
Jerome's Chamber.
12.15am. Candlelight lantern (Sven) & Fire Beetle glands.
So in answer to a question about description. The room is as described in a previous narration. You have put aside some wooden drawers and a crate to stuff with equipment that you wish to take back to Helix.
There is enough space, at a squash to camp here. Sven has a furry blanket to cuddle with.
You don't know any fate of Steban and Brother Fabian and the original plan was for them to secure the mound to use as a camp. Gerdal has recovered enough hp to break the cast and act as 'walking wounded', to regain full hp she still needs more complete rest.
actions please

Re: Return to the Barrow Mounds:
Sven smiles at the others though it is well past his bedtime by now.
“Hey guys! This is my new friend. Please say hello to Smoke……….ie”
“He was a spirit trapped in this tomb and I summoned him forth with my magic. He’s gonna help us out from now on.”
“Say hello to my friends, Smokie.”
Sven anxiously awaits to see if the wolf can actually speak.

Re: Return to the Barrow Mounds:
Sven gets back to business.
“Unless our situation has changed, we still need to reunite with the others in the mound above. So if Gerdal can move now, I think we might either need to bring this stuff up there, or at least go get them and bring them back here to rest out the night.”
“Smokie, do you know anything about a creature that roams these corridors. May have come by here earlier, sniffing about? Are the halls outside this door patrolled often?”
