The other group:
Darius, a human cleric of Pelor, who was originally from Iuz. He refused to go down into, or stay at, any Iuzian "Temple".
Thorar, a dwarven fighter who has chosen to follow/guard Darius
Bazil, the gnome whom the party found here at the Northern Izlen Outpost. He began the opening of the ant temple but chose to go with the dwarf and cleric.

NONE ARE ACTIVELY PLAYING

Other inactives:
Jacob, a human bard, who chose to remain at the Greyhawk Bard College for one year. (My bard would have done the same)
Skuzz, a halforc fighter who has accepted the probabtionary position with the Hardby Marines

I found my copy of Die Vecna Die
It was buried so far deep in the closet, that I had to remove everything, but I found it....
The covers are missing, and its in bad shape, but still readable for the most part.
I dont have the first two parts. Part 3 says it can stand alone, but characters should be 10-13 and will still be challenged.

Turns out, two people I personally know are credited as Editor and Playtester (Mr & Mrs Horner)
Wish I knew that back when I saw them regularly.

I would like to see some descriptive, in depth, post from all, as a final post in this chapter.
Thoughts going through your character's minds, ETC. (lol, even Benson's)
This will be a major turning point in the game. Beginnings of a new chapter, to say the least. Perhaps jumping ahead a few days, months, levels? years?
Some will continue on. Maybe others will join (someday :? ) But .....Vecna and Iuz be damned, it will continue in some form.

So.....everyone, over in the action thread, post marching order and readied items, along with something cool and in depth (as much as you like) and then I'll summarize the transition.

I have no idea how to post my characters state of unconscious mind. "Me want fight and adventure, but me sleeping"

Ditto about being nice to stuff. I'm simply amazed by the rate at which my kids destroy things: furniture, favorite toys, least favorite toys, video game controllers, DVDs, walls and doors, you name it... :P

Did anyone follow my logic in naming the new Chapter? What's our vector Vecna?.
A parody of a parody is usually confusing.....From the movie ... Airplane, with Peter Graves and Kareem Abdul Jabar.....

anyway, I thought it pretty darn funny

Dang, I hadn't seen that you started a new chapter, Ston. Sorry, I just click on the little messages I get in my email or else it didn't happen...

Airplane, now that takes one back! (should I mention that I was three in 1980? no, probably not...)

Here's where we are folks. Die Vecna Die is for six characters of 10-13th level.

Anyone feel up to the challenge of bumping these characters to 13?
(which will conveniently change the timeline enough to jump right in)
or?
New characters? the chosen of Greyhawk? Someone that your current character would be a follower of?
(whether by choice or command) allowing each player to have 2 roles.

Or....and this is always a possibilty.....we just continue to play, as is, slowly building as normal
Or?......take on Iuz and Vecna at current level 2.....naaaaaah!

I feel that jumping character up so much hinders the game. We wouldn't really know how to play them.

I understand the sand box part, good thing we bailed.

I'd like to keep playing Branc, whichever way we go.
Sebastian, A Candle in the Darkness
Ulrich, Tales of The Troll Company
Alex Fiord, The Rescuers
Hakon Geirmundarson, Pawns of the North Wind
Jameson Rowan, Silverband

If you want to play Vecna Lives! I'd prefer to start with new PCs and not use Players Options.

Die Vecna Die is the module where the party discovers clues to Iuz personal quest to defeat Vecna, which is where we are currently. I dont think I can run the other two parts here as written. Ill just send you out to gather further clues, building in levels as we go..........
which reminds me......did i pass out xp for defeating the ANT yet? 2500xp each, add bonuses and the city will provide any trainings you need to level up, if possible.

Although it doesn't matter if we are going to level up to 13, I didn't have an actual XP award before the Ant, just that he was level 2, so he may or may not make 3rd (if it matters at this point).

The xp level Branc was at was just enough for lvl 2, (in his case was 2500)
so another 2000 bonus leaves him a hair shy of 3rd level, soooooooo.....
lets just say 2500 for everyone for the ANT (plus any bonuses)
that way the mage (slowest to gain in level, is up there to the new spell level stuff, should be lots more fun that way)
dual class characters will have a harder time of it of course, but i cant change that....

character points?, yea 5 points for those leveling
additional dm cp gifts are as follows.......
Benson, one extra for the courage to read a note that COULD have killed him
one extra for Nayman and Branc for being part of all three chapters so far
2 extra points for everyone, roleplaying the events, you all did great

level up as soon as you can....train and rest, you'll need it
ill try to help with leveling questions, and this may allow me some additional time to figure out where to take the game
