Call of Cthulhu Anyone? [WAITLIST]

Hey folks!

I have been dabbling with the CoC (7E) system for a while now, looking for a fun adventure to run in the PbP format here on the Servant, and I think I have finally found one that will work perfectly.

So, I am checking to see if we have 4 or 5 interested investigators that want to play in a short, one-shot horror based mystery adventure with a posting rate of around 2 posts a week.

This will be a previously published "beginner friendly" investigation featuring swinging 1925 Jazz music, a popular Harlem Speakeasy, bootleg booze, dangerous mobsters, and dead people.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy, and you aren't already familiar with the storyline, let me know and I will put something together.

I would like to join in if I may.

I recently contacted another player with thoughts on Achtung Cthulhu and possibly joining a game if one got off the ground. I was a fan of H. P. Lovecraft stories so followed Grognards excellent 'That which should not be' game.

Which prompted me to read again my players guide to some Cthulhu genres. So maybe I have dusted them down in time though to be fair I have not a lot of experience with the system.

I am new here, have not played for several years and never Cthulhu but always liked the concept having read Lovecraft, Howard, etc. So if you are open to a beginner, I am interested.

Cthulhu fthagn. I had a stage magician in the somewhat recent and short-lived Dexterward CoC game before he went insane and disappeared. I’d be up to playing that character again.

Wow, that went much quicker than I thought it would.

That makes 5 players, so I will get something put together and request a game forum be created for us.

Newer players are most certainly welcome! (I am fairly new to this system myself)

If any more players show interest, I will start a Wait List for them in case of any unexpected early death or permanent insanity.
