Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Check the opposition's capabilities not just their perceived intent or perceived self-interest.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Really, it's a time to be tight and controlled. Even with one or two factions of interest, this would be a risky time. Jakob would recommend a very small delegation to the party. Really, we can use the "preparing to make room for the new tenants" as an excuse to have everyone gear up and to centrally locate all of our kit. We probably have enough spare uniforms to put Gaughan and anyone coming along into the semblance of "our people".
Also, detail SEMC fire teams as a QRF. Guaghan, etc, as firebase defense. They know the territory and a lot of them aren't yet up for a QRF action.

I think your right that the Swordies and Trexelon wouldn't cause trouble, and I don't think Erica wants any either. In that meeting I get the feeling she was translating/giving orders to the Major, or possibility talking to Keening or the suits. The Bindoner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 7:48 pm Sensible worries.
Hopefully it's in nobodies interest to undo the newly established order.
With Uvash out of the picture and his fanatics dead the Swordies are the only real threat, and breaking a truce to massacre Imperials doesn't seem in their interests, or the TTC's.
My biggest concern would be disgruntled locals, they have lost a lot of their people and Gudrun worked a lot of them up with his anti-imperial rhetoric. Hopefully they've had enough of the killing but you never know. It was probably a throw-away line by Tiglath, but dodgy tasting wine?

Agreed, all good ideas. Frank will have to go, who else? As RSM/QSM Jess will have to stay behind, and Jakob could due to his medical situation.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Prerna should probably stay with her team and provide some overwatch.

So, just Frank then

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
So, invite Perron's troop to join SEMC? If we can take them and the vehicles, it might be the direction we talked about in "Forward Thoughts".
Of course, he might be leery of grenades...

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
they've shown that they can be bought, do we want to take that chance? The vehicles are not theirs, but the barons.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
What is their current status? My assumption, and it's no more solid than a wild guess, is that they stayed far away from the Baron to avoid any more suicidal orders. It may be that they were paid off, though. If so, they they aren't what we want.
I think getting the vehicles off they planet works for all interests; business and military. You should see some of the stuff militaries leave behind.

Agreed. He's a person of negotiable loyalty, I wouldn't trust him to sit straight on a toilet seat

Jess will only attend the dinner if ordered to, but it does seem wise to have more than Frank present.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
I could be overly paranoid, but Perron's disabling their vehicle tracking sounds more like doing a side deal and less just not wanting to be found.

Have Erica talk to him. She's a shrewd judge of character.

Absolutely. We knew he'd been bought out when the unit stayed out at the opposite pole ( and out of contact ) when the trouble started. In fact we were told he'd "seen sense" by the opposition.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Actually, I just reviewed the Friendly Fire event. Scratch my earlier desire for Perron and his troops.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Maybe we can grab a couple of their vehicles, though

Love to, but it seems likely he's under contract to the TTC now and stealing from them is bad business (even though he technically stole his kit from the Guard. Possession=9/10th and all).
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
If anyone has a legitimate reason not to be at the dinner it's Jess, she's busy getting us ready to leave. The Bindoner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 8:14 pm

Gaughan can help filter out any one that it might be worth approaching. The Bindoner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 9:46 pm Redundancies..
Jess regards that as a recruiting opportunity. They've got cash and a passage, so anyone we get to sign on isn't doing it out of desperation. 'Course, most of them are pretty duff, but, again, they're unlikely to sign on.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
oh yeah...we keep an eye on Gudrun's body until we leave.
We are less and less likely to get the salvage rights for the wreck in orbit, but I'll be damned if I'll let someone sneak that corpse from right from under us, we're getting more money from somewhere. Maybe just in case we should do the bio-bullet to the brain now.
