As Nalani returns to the docking bay she finds two vehicles pulling up behind her taxi - A delivery truck and a passenger buggy.

From the delivery truck, a river appears and starts unloading crates and boxes - Looks like the Captains Food and Supplies order.

From the Passenger Buggy climbs a short, fat man in white overalls who pulls out a large wheeled case marked "North-Hanger Architects"

Nalani greets them, and heads into the bay, where the rest of the crew appear to be making a search.

The Fat Man introduces himself
Hi, I'm Mark. I gather you have a Queen Class - Practical and Cheap. What's wrong with it?

Nālani, back in her jumpsuit after a practiced quick-change in the back of the cab, looks quizzically at the apparent search before turning her attention to Mark.

Hopefully nothing. She was handled roughly by the Navy some years ago and dragged here. The gravity in this mooring is low, but it may still have stressed the damaged hull. Come, I will show you the parts I am most concerned about.

As she passes Indrani or Pranit ( whoever is nearest without diverting ) Nālani pauses and tells Mark I need a word here. Carry on, I will meet you aboard.

When he has moved on she quietly says Is this search theatre for the cameras, or have you reason to think there are more devices? I know the station security has double-feed, I did not hear there were others. Do I need to be security-minded aboard?

After the survey, and any work that can be done on the ship, Nālani assess what she needs to make her old stateroom habitable and orders it for delivery tomorrow. As son as she is off duty she will return to the hotel, see to Hoshiko and try to get a ticket to see the Jerome U event tonight.

He follows Nalani...That's unusual...he points at the door at the far end of the crew deck...So this isn't a standard vessel any more?

Nalani can only confirm this.

On the lift ride to the Engineering deck...It's a bit of a mess isn't it - they didn't look after it well. Still she'll clean up.

These were real work-horses out here, but they really didn't spend much on frills. They leak heat like anything and don't provide much rad protection - but they did put in the self-sealing hull (sensible in the belt). I hope she's still good as she's a bit of a classic.

Indrani arrives, authorises the contract and Mark starts his survey - still thirsty. Two bots start crawling across the walls and cieling.

Nalani gets to watch him (and his bots) work for 2 hours and spends the time on her computer, looking stuff up.

Eventually, he starts to pack up the gear, and get the bots back into the bag.

I'll want to get a look at the outside too. My suits in the buggy. I guess you'll have to escort me to the car and back. Will you be accompanying me outside?

Nālani makes tea, and whatever Mark drinks ( assuming we have it, otherwise she will order takeaway food with drinks for everyone ) then keeps company, not interfering or distracting him with idle chatter but responding whenever needed.

Mark heads outside, and returns wearing a belter-style vacc-suit that was possible purchased when he was slightly slimmer! He's carrying the two scanner-bots in a carry sack, and his own hand-scanner and computer - and a safety line.

The survey of the outside is much, much slower. So much so that Mark calls it a day after another two hours.

That slam from the missile has flexed the ship. - The drive will compress the damage when under forward acceleration - which is good - but your turns may be an issue - I'll look further tomorrow.

Pranit will grab the electronic kit and a few prying items from the mechanic kit Pranit heads off:
Using electronics at +1 and +1 for Int bonus
Bug hunt[2d6+2]=8+2=10

Pranit really takes his time [1d6]=6

GM: Pranit will go and get his aircar after finishing and putting everything back.

Pranit's efforts are definitely not helping the ribs. He gets slower - and slower as time progresses and the pain increases. By the end he's convinced of three things:
1) There are no hidden electronic devices in the bay - just the port authority security cameras
2) He really should have sought painkillers and first aid hours ago
3) His arm is getting stiff as his bruising swells. 500kg landing on you isn't fun, even in 0.3G!

"Captain, I need to check something out tonight. Personal. Unless you need me to stay onboard?"

When Mr Kassel leaves and Nālani has put her suit away she picks up her bags and goes to find Arnwolf and asks for a private word. When they are alone she is reluctant to come to the point for a moment before rushing out with it:

Arnwulf, we always got on well. I trust you. I have a favour to ask. This will sound strange, but... will you come with me to a brothel tonight? I need to earn some money and there is a game there I want to get in on. I will feel safer with an escort.
