Places to go
Places to go
Fort Smith Coffee Co.
Local family owned coffee house that is often a great hangout for the average fellow wanting a quality cup of local coffee and to see and hear local artist. It is a rustic but high class joint that manages to capture the local flavor of the town without seeming to be ironic. Everyone is welcome.

Fort Smith Historic Site
The original location of the original settlement of the Fort that would be the town's namesake. This is the heart of the town and rumored to be the site of multiple hauntings where people have rumored seeing everything from civil war soldiers to the famous Hanging Judge himself. The team has been tipped off by some of the city officials about the rumors and have been granted an invitation to investigate.

John Henry Tooling Warehouse Co., Inc.
One of the older depression-era businesses that survived the hard times. There is said to have been some interest in the business by an unsavory bunch known as the Harper Family.

Church of the Living God
And old timey church where Father Belmont preaches a real fire and brimstone style of worship to his small congregation. It is also where his weekly "Watch Dog" program is filmed where he often shames locals for their "sins" by exposing public records he has dug up or recordings of them in private moments.

Re: Places to go
New Liberty Baptist Church
A small local church built in the early 1980s and presided over Brother Barry. They are a pretty quiet bunch but have been complaining about a haunting drumming coming from the local Cavanaugh Mound, that happens to be on the backlot of their property. Having exhausted their options, they have asked the Ghostbusters to have a look. Unfortunately, the area of the mound has become very overgrown and is infested with venomous snakes!

Slimmerman Motors
A family-owned used car lot. Not as expensive as the big dealerships, and more willing to haggle, especially for a trade-in, but buyer beware!

Baptist Health Hospital
One of two Fort Smith hospitals. This one is practically across the street from the Firehouse, which makes it convenient. Some people who have had near-death experiences there claim to have seen ghosts, angels, demons... but these are largely dismissed.

St George & Alexandra Orthodox Church
A historic Amry chapel on the old Fort Chaffee Army Base that currently is presided over by Father "Papa" Popascu. Everyone seems to agree this is a pleasant place to go to and folks around town look forward to their bi-annual pancake breakfasts and yard sale events.

Re: Places to go
The Haunted House: 601 North E Street.
Fort Smith, AR, the Historic District.
This location turned out to be haunted by Poltriguists caused by the emotions of previous tenants along with old neighborhood rumors and was fueled by residual magics left there by an unknown warlock who used to property to channel leftover magic for himself, and hid a phylactery in the upper floors to prolong his own life by twisting the magics left by the generations of the original owners, the Blackwell Witches. This was also the first contact that the team had with D.O.O.R., the modern remnants of the Blackwell Coven.
