Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Andronichishche bows to Pete and Joe, "Good morning, gentlemen! Indeed, as Mr. Maag has said, our mission has a dual purpose. The passage fare last time was ... ten gold? Would you perhaps accept eight gold, one per passenger? Miss Tlachtga and Cu as one, of course." He places a gold coin into the waiting palm and pauses as he boards the boat with a wry grin playing on his lips.
"Besides, we'll be distracting the killer trees while yourselves can feast on fruit.", he says with a wink.

Maag
Maag hands over his coin (deducted) and briefly considers making a wisecrack at Joe's expense. Then he remembers that Joe knows his real name and decides to avoid the inevitable embarrassment.
Instead, after a moments thought, he tries a different tack. "Yer might wanna bring a few more buckets and sacks fellas. Der's a lot more fruit to bring back".

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Saracen speaks up at his fellow half-orc’s remarks. We would be wise to take back only enough fruit to feed the town and not follow in their over zealous farming of the region around beachtown. That way we can come back and harvest more when the town is really struggling.
Greys Campaign.

“We got a few stowed sacks of our own ta fill while we wait, don’t you worry. Besides, the way I figures it, once you strong and magicky folks are done clearing out all the nasties, folks won’t be so afraid ta come over here for themselves ta get what they need.”

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Back To Work
Freeday, 19th of Goodmonth
Early Morning, Partly Cloudy, Warm, Humid
After collecting their gold piece from each member of the group, the men get the party back across the open water. Just before they hit the beach again, a loud thud is heard on the bottom of the small wooden vessel. The noise causes alarm to show in the faces of the two fishermen, but they keep rowing and eventually get the boat landed safely into the beach filled with tiny sandy lumps.
The fishermen don't immediately exit the craft, instead looking all around in the shallow water and at the beach landing area. They don't mention the thud at all.
"Well, we made it. I suppose you would like us to wait here again like we did the last two times?"
The cats seem to be huddled on the far end of the beach this time, apparently not interested in greeting the trespassers again.
Actions?

Andronichishche notes the rowers' expression of alarm, but wasn't particularly concerned himself until the boat landed without any mention of the noise. The cats are on the far side of the beach, as well. Are they avoiding something? He peers back across the water aft of the boat, looking for any sign of what either the boat hit ... or, hit the boat. Without turning his head from the water, he asks a question obviously intended for the fishermen, "Is there anything you gentlemen need to tell us?"

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Alordan casts his eyes on the water, his sword now drawn, and ready for an attack. "There are some large creatures in the water - that have no problem at all coming out and eating us." He'll tell the tale of the sea troll when the risk of danger passes - so it will likely be quite a while.

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Nothing is seen in the water or on the sandy shore.
Joe looks at Alordan to answer the question from Andronichishche.
"He knows there are dangerous things in these waters. That was probably nothin, but people have gone missin swimming round these parts, so don't get yourselves too far away from shore if you ever decide ta take a dip."
