Moonday, 15th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Damp, Dim, Humid
The party scrunches up tightly in the narrow passage so they can all be in the torchlight at the same time. Crestbrook puts his back to the north wall and peers into the tight tunnel. There he sees a very short and narrow passage that ends abruptly in a small chamber complete with another statue.
This statue isn't a minotaur, or a kobold, but a man. A man dressed in simple robes who carries an open book of some kind in his arms. This statue looks old. Very old. With lots of aging and pock marks covering its surface. The expression on the mans stone face is one of complete and utter terror.
There is nothing else inside the chamber that can be seen from the main passage. Crestbrook will need to doff his armor or stand sideways if he intends to attempt to enter this barely 2 foot wide passage. The paladin tries to detect for evil in the room, but when he closes his eyes to concentrate, all he sees is the aging face of poor Cora whispering something to him about avenging her death or some such. He cant make out the exact words in his mind.
