A little unsure about how leaving the dungeon helps us... help me out with that?

This 0-level adventure is almost complete. There is no advantage to ending early and returning to town.

thinking as the character, i do believe that after losing like, what, 6 or so characters, and getting some gems, they are already "winning". thinking as a gamer, and looking at the map, trying to finishing the north section seems the way to go.

seems we have 3 options:
1- finish (not likely)
2- go to the village , call more people (as if we could restock our personal roost to 4 pcs)
3- keep going

If the DM think its not time worth, lets just continue
