I just meant that the fighters don't need refer to the book much during gameplay. But I guess they can spend their time drooling over the magic swords section

Guess the question is were we fully armored up as we walked around and began the investigation or not?

Sheamus was for sure.

I would assume yes under the circumstances.

So to clarify my IC post, Ingvar would inform Ernest that they are going to the manor to meet the others.

And we can bring a horse for Sheamus from the inn. It'd be hard to miss Humfrey hurrying torwards the inn to change into armor, so we'd hear from him that the rest of the group is going to follow Sir Kathel's lead, who ordered them to get their armor AND horses.

Hopefully this will help coordinating things a bit and we can be all in one place, with horses, armor and henchmen. Minus mules, who I'm assuming are used as beasts of burden only.

Sound good?

Sounds good, except not all of you have horses (none of the henchmen) and one of you does ride a mule. :)

OK my bad - but we can bring the riding mule too, if needed. Ernest would know what to do right?

As for the lack of mounts for everybody, we'd just have to improvise once the posse is together :)

Would riding double be possible? Ingvar and Solvi are both quite light.

Will skip it, if it's obviously dumb, i.e. known risk of injury to the horse or so slow that running would be faster.

Double is fine, maybe stay to the back in case one of you falls off. Vikings were more of a dragoon type horseman (ie. ride to battle and get off the horse to fight).

Maybe we should have been Huns then? Maybe Mongols? Then again the Celts were known as very skilled cavalry fighters and charioteers.

The ancient Spanish were good with horses and chariots as well. I don't see much horse work being required after this encounter, but you never know.

Before I roll anything, should I do the follower rolls under the main char on the dice roller?

My rolls. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I tried to label them so it was clear what went where.
