Day 19 – 9:40 a

I'm going to just keep you trucking along, I'll leave the map above, but we'll just continue it with this map.

Jeloon sees another cavern on her left. Coming up further down the passage she sees that there's yet another passage on her right, and then this passage veers to the left. Jeloon is leading and is at the red X and heading south.

.
The rats are completely out of eye sight. You'd guess that they continued on this passage, but it's impossible to tell.

HPs: Jeloon - 23/29; Till - 36/36; Yosef - 8/10; Bruard - 16/19
WIH: Till: short sword (15' radius light); Jeloon: Longsword (20' radius light), shield; Yosef: bow and arrow; Bruard: Mace, shield; Van: +1 ogre spear, shield; Eyman: +1 Battle Axe, shield
MO: 1- Jeloon; 2- Till; 3- Bruard & Eyman; 4- Ancor, Rosin, DAMs; 54 - Yosef ; 5 - Van (left outside the tunnels)
Consumables: Lantern - (Till) 2 hours, 25 minutes left (off), 30' radius; Torch, 58 minutes (off), 40' radius; Torch, 60 minutes (off), 40' radius.
--------Spells: Yosef: 1-2/2, 2-1/1; Bruard: 1-5/5, 2-4/4

.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Maybe rats go in here? Jeloon wonders aloud.

Once Till, Yosef and Bruard have caught up to her current location: "Me find out." she states. With sword in hand and shield raised in front of her, Jeloon leads anyone that will follow into the open cavern on her left.

Yosef follows Till into the chamber as well and gives Bruard the signal to hold to either hold at the entrance intersection or pass him and follow Till in.

The elf will be sure not to move in so far that he cannot make it back to the intersection quickly or at least keep an eye on it, just in case it's a trap or the party is approached from the other passageway!

Bruard will stay at the mouth of the chamber, as long as his friends are within range of his super-special infravision helmet.

Day 19 – 9:45 a

It's real quiet and real dark in these tunnels, a quick check through the room finds it apparently empty and devoid of passages leading in or out.

Somehow the logical suggestion from Till manages to resonate with Jeloon and she abandons her reckless pursuit in favor of a more cautious approach.

"You lead," she says to Till with a slight nod. "But let's hurry."

Yosef keeps his longsword to hand and an occasional eye peeled towards the party's rear as he prepares to move out behind Till and Jeloon.

"I hope we do not have to go too much further down here. I worry about Van back there by himself and would hope that if he calls out for help that we will still be able to hear him," he whispers to the others.

Day 19 – 9:47 a

.

The next intersection comes quickly. To your right (west) a cavern opens up, straight ahead (south) there's another fork in the road.

The cavern to your west, when you scan with infravision, seems big, and the floor is apparently littered with plates and utensils. Most of it looks broken. As far as you can see the floor is just covered. You cannot see the whole cavern though.

To the south you don't see anything (except the fork) but there is starting to be a bit of a smell coming from that direction. To Jeloon it makes her a little hungry, to the rest of you it smells like rotting food... lots of rotting food.

"What do you think? Make sure this room is clear first and then move o..." Till stops in mid-sentence as he hears a noise.

"What IS that sound? Jeloon, is that your stomach grumbling?" He shakes his head.

Having Bruard move up ahead of him, Yosef remains hyper-vigilant and uber-paranoid in the rearguard position. Although he will be sure to keep a measured distance to his clerical companion just ahead of him, he will continuously keep a lookout behind them for any sneaky rear attacks or attempted flanking maneuvers!

Till moves into the room to the west, scanning quickly for any heat signatures before moving in further to give it a closer look.

Jeloon looks down to her stomach and shrugs. “Me hungry.” she adds.

"Me not sure? Not want to waste time in empty room while rats get furder away, but make sure room empty first." she offers.

Jeloon will hold her position in the current passage, allowing Till to perform the initial stealthy investigations of the chamber, but is prepared to move in quickly should the need arise.

Day 19 – 9:49 a

No heat signatures. Lots of mess, most looking broken, on the floor.

Do gold and jewels glint when you're using infravision? Hmm, just wondering aloud.

Till pauses for a moment, to see if there is anything in the room that doesn't give off heat, but may still be moving around.

No, but they might have a different temp then the surrounding ground. Likely colder.
But Till sees nothing in here but a bunch of busted dining ware.
