I was in Raleigh for the day. It got to 94%. Pretty sweet.
Re: OOC chat
Yeah, it was good here. I took a half day off and took in the eclipse with the kids and the missus.greyarea wrote:I was in Raleigh for the day. It got to 94%. Pretty sweet.

Dieter makes a long whistle. Castinus, please stop at the third map. Remember how we got here? See, we came in there and traveled along there and ended up there. Dieter draws along the map with his finger. This place is very large and its only a single floor of many.

Re: OOC chat
Yeah, I used to use dropbox for everything but then they made public sharing for difficult (like embedding images). I think this happened a few months back. I did not feel like creating yet another account for something last night. Shrug.greyarea wrote:Hence I use Imgur for image hosting.spanningtree wrote:Dieter - Mage

Re: OOC chat
All of the images I have on Imgur are not associated with an account. I just put them up there and get the sharing URL. Makes going back to edit an image impossible but I just edit on my computer and upload a new image. No account, no fuss.
Re: OOC chat
Strangely enough, I don't see any of them on my main computer. I think one of my ad blocking filters stop them.

Re: OOC chat
sorry all I was involved in a cart accident on Friday, and I'm alright, but i have no car at the moment so I've been dealing with all that and haven't really paid much attention to the games here. Once things get back to somewhat normal I should be back to my usual posting pace.

yes if it hasn't been figured out yet Algrim's method to investigating things is to poke em with a stick.

Could we get a list here of the stuff we found in (let's call it) the armory?
BTW, what are the rules for a druid using tech?

Re: OOC chat
There's already a Loot thread. That should work as the armory. I've been tracking cards there, but y'all can track other stuff as well. Just don't expect the DM to do that.Zhym wrote:Could we get a list here of the stuff we found in (let's call it) the armory?

Druids can use tech with no disadvantages. If you want to, role-play an aversion to doing so but this tech is no more "anti-nature" than woven cloth or forged steel and is effectively magic (see Clarke's Third Law).
Re: OOC chat
I wonder how long the people on this ship have been dead. Recently enough for Dandy to be able to speak with them?
Or might there be other divination spells we could use to figure out the control panel? Seems like an awfully complex thing to try to figure out blind (unless you have Spock, who can figure out any control system on sight).

Re: OOC chat
Well we can try and get that crazy nurse to tell us about things but i imagine that will expose our earlier ruse

I'm not the only one who thought of this, right?badams30 wrote:Grimes - Fighter
Feeling a bit inquisitive, Grimes approaches the altar and says "Let me take a look at this, eh?" He'll push/twist or pull a couple doohickeys until something seems to happen.

That’s the general idea... Grimes is like that guy at the frat party who always says “Hey! Watch this!”

Or, in more modern parlance, "Hold my beer!"
These are ghouls. They hang out in graveyards, they have long tongues, and they eat people.
