Re: Fingers: The Kobold Tower: Part II - 13 June 2021
I actually wasn't sure if Able would be rounding up an expedition party or going alone with Idriss.

Is everyone else willing to contribute 20gp to get 50xp (that's what we get if we hire a minstrel, right)?

Yep. Sure.
Dragon foot. Bamboo pole. Little mouse. Tiny boy.

I thought I might go for it without paying, first.
Re: Fingers: The Kobold Tower: Part II - 13 June 2021
Either way, someone needs to write the story up first.

Final note:
300gp, 200sp, 69cp each.
That is a large sack full of coins, and weighs 56.9 pounds. As long as you have a large sack, you can haul this around town with you. Otherwise, you'll need to stack it on the dresser in your room at the Inn.
When it is time to leave town on your next expedition, I do require you to calculate and post your initial encumbrance so I can figure the group's movement rate. An extra 60lbs per person pretty much guarantees that you'll be moving at 1/4 normal movement.
You can convert to more portable wealth using the Usurer at the Wooden Keep.

- You can post there to buy any of the gems available for sale. Gems are carried at negligible weight and can be spent at full-value to buy something that costs more than that value. Otherwise, you can convert gems back to coin at a later time at a slight loss (80-90%, based on CHA).
- You can also convert to Platinum Pieces (PP) at a 1% fee. Exchanging all your coin minus the 1% fee is 31pp, 7gp, 4sp, 9cp. That is 51 coins for 5.1 pounds.
- If you spend coins during the downtime before your expedition, please show your calculation for your remaining coins and post it in the Wooden Keep forum for record keeping.

As to coins, I went with earlier post of:
"Able - 148gp, 50sp, 35cp, Ward vs. Undead Scroll, Amulet of ESP"
Does he have more gold than I thought?

No. He and Fingers got half-shares. I was talking to the others.Rusty Tincanne wrote:Does he have more gold than I thought?
