Interest Check - AD&D/OSR, Inner or Outer Planes Adventure

I'm posting this to gauge the forum's interest in a high-level, inner or outer planes adventure.

This is in the interest check phase, so there isn’t a pending start date.

The adventure would feature fantastical environments and weird adversaries defying logic.

The rules system would be AD&D/OSR with a few house rules.

I would be interested in some sort of high level campaign, dependent on when it would be starting and how many other games I would be in at the time.

I prefer the Outer Planes.

My only experience with the planes is staring in awe at the DMG diagrams back when I was a kid.



Those planar layers spiraling away into the abyss tripped me out.

So, anyway, I'm willing to follow the preferences of those more experienced.

what would be the purpose of travelling from one wild plane to another? Each is the 'domain' of certain gods or devils. Unless you had high level spells or artefacts it makes any kind of intrusion into these places difficult.

Preference would be o play an anti-hero type, perhaps a mage in league with diabolic forces intent on material world domination. just a thought.

Y'know, Queen of the Demonweb Pits would be a good way to get high-level PCs adventuring in multiple planes.

A quest of some sort or the promise of immortality? Obtaining a rare substance to create a magic item? The possibilities are limited only by imagination.
