I'm with Ron however everything I try to do requires me to do this and it is highly annoying that we now have to do this.rredmond wrote:I'm using Chrome and that CTR-SHIFT-R trick has been saving my tuckus.
Annoying, but it works! Thanks Zhym!

They're clearing the server's cache (?) and it may help. Please post your observations. They say it may take 10 minutes so check the time in regards to my (this) post.

Will do Greg. Here's to hoping it resolves the issues.

I don't want to jinx it, but things are working great for me right now.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Re: logon problem
Fingers crossed.
Thanks for working this issue during a really busy time, Greg.

The pages seem to be loading fine at this point. I seem to remain logged in as me and pages seem to load appropriately, showing the most recent posts accurately.
Thanks so much for checking on/fixing this for all us addicts.

Re: logon problem
so far so good haven't had any glitches yet and have not had to use the ctrl+shift+r as of yet.

Re: logon problem
It seems to be working properly for me too now.
Re: logon problem
Does this mean I have to get out of Dave's bed now?

That's between you, Dave, and Dave's wife, man.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am still seeing it occasionally. I was just 'Rusty Tincanne' a moment ago:
This lapse seems to happen when I press the "Unseen Servant" logo to jump to the home page again (which I routinely do).

Dang this bed is getting crowded.dmw71 wrote:I was just 'Rusty Tincanne' a moment ago...
I always press Board Index to get back to home. Now I'm afraid to use the logo.

Re: logon problem
The logo works fine for me. But for some reason the little icon to go to the new post doesn't actually go to the new post, just the top of the page it's on.

I was just going to say that I tried the 'Board index' link and had the same outcome -- I got switched back to Rusty's account, at an older date.

Was your page also from 8:25 pm?

You poor SOB! if you're in my bed, there is no sleep. I didn't get to sleep until 12:30, was woken up at 2:30, then I couldn't fall back asleep until 4:15ish, and was then woken up again at 5:45.dmw71 wrote:I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am still seeing it occasionally. It'll be a migraine later, likely as not. But at least now I know who to blame for the lack of sleep. I'll let my two sons know they are of the hook.
