Ok players!

What do we want to do here before our DM abandons all of us to our fate? :?

Is the consensus to head back to the ruined fort?

Yes! Let's sell what we can here, and load up on provisions, and then head back to the old fort.

Head directly to the fort then or stop in town somewhere to sell items? If you left town within the next hour you could get to Mom's outpost by late afternoon or all the way to the abandoned fort in time to have about an hour of daylight left.

I'm for spending the day on sales and provisions, and then heading out first thing in the morning.

It is going to break my heart when this thread has to move on to page 9. I burst out laughing now whenever I go here and see Benny Hill first thing. (I'm simple.)

In other news, my life is about to become incredibly busy and stressful. The second to last week of August I start a PhD program and will be teaching as well. While I am already wetting my pants over this and am sure it will be slightly more chaotic than even imagined, I do not want to drop this game. I have already dropped as a player in two games and hopefully will not need to do more. Being able to operate as a DM not to mention I am enjoying this game and the story for this campaign makes this game a priority for me. I hope to maintain this game as well as the once a day posting frequency. If either of those needs to be revisited I will let you know but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about near future changes. Hoping you will all stay for the ride. Thank you and good night.

Teachers/educators return to work on Aug. 18 (my mother's birthday) and then students return on Aug. 29 > those two weeks will be bat shit crazy for me, but I'll manage. My plan is to continue with the games I'm currently in or running but not to add any more. I've already dropped out of one game, but will continue with the others, two of which are posting only twice a week...which is great for me.
If things get too hectic, you might consider decreasing your posting rate > just a thought. ;)

Otherwise, I'm in this one for as long as you run it...or as long as Graela is alive.

You must be a serious night owl.

I will be around no matter the posting rate.

Good luck with your wet pants! :D

Congrats on the PhD program! :D

I'm a teacher too, so I feel everyone's pain. It is utter chaos right now, so my posts have slowed in all my games as well. I started back to work on Monday, and the students come back Friday. I can already hear the barbarians at the gate... :?

Anyway, I am here for as long as you will have me and as long as Tip stays alive... I'm really enjoying the game. I feel like you have really created a rich world for all of us to play around in.

Thanks for DMing!

I'm also in the teaching club! We should start a conference on balancing academia with role-playing commitments.

This is a fun campaign, and we've had a chance to establish ourselves in it. We'll weather a slow-down just fine.

I am not sure if the rest of you still want to do something in town but, Travix is ready to move along to the morning in order to get this show on the road.

Shall we?
