This is where a defensive shield wall, especially big tower shields and stabbing through the gaps with spears can be so effective. Shame we have to wait a few days for supplies. Still could Emm, Audi and Quinn collectively form a defensive front line against this beast, going all out defensive to protect the guys behind so they can drag the unconscious Ran away and others attack at range?

The thing is standing on Ranulf's body. To get to him, you would need to force this thing back, which is possible, but hard. There's no "full defense" move in acks, though I'll think about that a bit. Attacking "from range" isn't really a choice for your group, because you don't have that kind of archery skill. You can attack with pole arms and spears from the second rank, though...

I actually knew those having grown up in Michigan. We used to cross into Windsor all the time and spent lots of time in the UP. which is practically Canada

My friends here in Massachusetts think I'm strange when I'm running my grill in February. They eat the BBQ just fine though

Hi drpete et al. Sorry for the disappearing act. What started as a few days of project crunch time over a weekend got interrupted by a very bad turn in the illness of a close family member. It has now become clear that that illness is terminal. As my family is now providing full time care, my spare time has dwindled to virtually zero. For the time being, I simply can't continue with the game. The situation will change, but I obviously have no idea when, or what kind of headspace I might be in.

I've had a great time playing with you guys, and I really felt we worked well together as a playgroup. Thank you for that! Hopefully I can game with you again in the future.
