Caiden looks up from his drink confused as Moorehouse storms in and out without spouting a single word, he smiles as he sees Esilia, "Hello there Esilia, it's weird seeing you without Delea, is everything alright? Moorehouse seems...anxious?"

He looks to his new companions, "Oh yeah, everyone, this lovely pixie is a friend of Netheril"

Esilia Willow – Pixie 2 (HP: 18/18) (AC: 10/fly 14)

Hearing Caiden's familiar voice, Esilia turns back with a troubled smile and a brisk wave, and while glancing between Caiden and Gavin says, "I, uh...Sorry!" and then rushes to catch up with Gavin.

Kel tries not to stare at the utter beauty of the pixie. Failing to do so, the Half-Giant tries to look elsewhere "Friends of yours Caiden? Who is the big guy with the sword looks like a knight or something." he remarks with no resentment or anger in his tones. "Well perhaps they can give us further assistance they both look as if they have something to bring to the group that we could use."

Caiden slants his head a bit, "I wouldn't call him a friend, I only met him once and for a brief time, he is a knight of some order, I think it's....the rose? Not sure, Zirus has more knowledge of him than me, I believe they met on more than one occasion"

He stares at the door, "I think he was looking for Gunther, I am not sure approaching him at his state to ask for assistance is a good idea, he seemed out of sorts, a bit angry too", he ponders what could have happened to upset him.

Lyeara- As she is testing out her new cup. She drinks the water from it. Then she starts to pour some whine. Another person comes bursting into the room. She runs and hides behind Kel. I must leave this place. To much. to much going on in this place. I must go outside. I will stand watch with the guards. Lyeara the notices that she dropped the wine skin and her dagger is in her hand.

[Rakjak - lvl 0] (hp: 10/10) (AC: ??)
Actions: Sage Wisdom

Rakjak watches the knight burst into the room then leave, not truly caring about the added disruption, the same amount of emotion going into the pixie's entrance. He listens halfheartedly to the others talk about the human and pixie for a moment before yawning as he sits upon the table, his arms crossed in front of his chest, "Pixie is weird eat, taste like grass... But I find dat you mix dem wit flowers and ten meat taste like flowers... weird eats..." he nods his head in a sage-like manner, comfortable in leaving the group with another unraveled mystery that he has found while on his journeys.

As the dark elf becomes increasingly skittish Rakjak opens one eye to stare at her before laughing in his high pitched laugh, "No worry! If dey come fer you den you jus kill em and eat em! Food dat comes to you is tasty, no need to hunt." He closes his eye again for a moment before opening them both up to stare at her in alarm, "But hunt is better! Dog dat no hunt gets lazy, lazy dogs get dead; Yes.." He nods towards Lyeara, confident that this new information will help her in the long run.

[Tafari - lvl 0] (hp: 10/10) (AC: 14)
Actions: Gah!

Tafari listens to the group intently, trying to learn what he can from between the words. Watching every movement, and paying close attention to body language, gestures and mannerisms. He pauses at the human a bit longer. He's not seen a live one before. They can't grow on his island, and he's always thought of them as....delicate, but this one seems quite hearty. He turns towards Tobias, now eager to hear of his past dealings. He opens his mouth to question him further when the door bursts open.
GAH! A look of dread comes over him as he watches the knight, which is quickly replace by a look of wonder.
a pixie? oh my...Oh, um, Excuse me all
Tafari chases the pixie thru the door, pulling his notebook out as he goes.

Kel responding back to Caiden's comments "Very well Caiden. Zirus what do you know of those two?" then turning towards the lizard man until Lyeara gets all jumpy and hides behind him again "You are really jumpy what is in that wine you are drinking Lyeara? If you need to take in the fresh air then I can go outside with you if you wish?"

Zirus eyes the newcomers, showing little emotion. He responds to Kel, however. "The man I have not met before. The s-s-s-small one is the familiar of one white sorceress-s-s-s called Delea and has been helpful to us-s-s-s many times in the past. She knows the lands-s-s-s well and can be trusted. Delea is in the employ of Netheril and so is, I expect, this little one by extension." He turns to the knight who has just come in. "Pleas-s-s-e introduce yourself, human being, and tell us what you will of your intention here."

[Lyeara, lvl0, Hp10, AC 12]- Not noticing the pixie in the commotion with the human. Then hearing Rakjak speak of eating the beautiful little creature. I would not eat such a beautiful little thing. As I have heard that horrible curse befalls those that do. Kel thank you I shall be alright as long I stay by your side. She then addresses the pixie. She looks to the pixie and addresses her She points to the giant. This is Kel and I am Lyaera. What is all the commotion about?

Actions: curse? Montezuma's revenge?

Rakjak thinks over what Lyeara says, his brow scrunched as he digs through his memories, he then gives her a shake of his head, "No curse... oh! Did give Rakjak bad gas... smell like tulips... dat count?"

Summary: The Night Before
Location: 1st Floor Guest Room
Calendar: 10:00 pm - July 9th, 9001

Gavin Moorehouse a Human, followed briskly by the Pixie Esilia, burst into the 1st floor Guest Room. Gavin says nothing, looks around frantically, and then departs as quickly. Zirus and Lyeara attempt to converse with the two new arrivals. Gavin departs without a word to either. Esilia waves and says hi to Caiden, then follows quickly on the heels of Gavin.

Tafari, apparently enthralled at the presence of the Pixie gives chase for a closer inspection.

OOC: I would like to change my former PC post policy. I know that many of you frequently make mobile posts, and doing so makes it difficult to always include my requested header post. I have added the stats (HP and AC) along with full names and races to The Party section below. If you could each post your character’s name (in bold if it isn’t too much trouble) at the beginning of your post it would be greatly appreciated.

NPC Post: Babak – Gargoyle – Gunther Wilmhest’s little helper

Babak looks up in alarm as Tafari chases after the Pixie. Jumping up, he gives chase with a shout, "Sir. Sir! You mustn't run amok. Master Netheril will not allow it. Sir!" Babak passes through the door to the Gust Room and can be heard hollering at Tafari as he gives chase up the outer stairwell.

Rakjak

Rakjak shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly as he hops off of the dining table, doing some small stretches after sitting for a while. Speaking to the group as he makes his way to the doorway, "Elf girl right, we go see." With the others following or not following him Rakjak makes his way down the hallway, in the direction the Knight, Pixie, and now Tafari, ran too.

Summary: Investigatory Exploration
Location: 1st Floor/Tower Entrance
Calendar: 10:01 pm - July 9th, 9001

Lyaera, Zirus, Rakjak, and possibly Kel venture out of the Guest Room to investigate the source and/or any and all hind-end, snake-biting, nefarious, slinky, trailing followers of Gavin, Esilia, and the previous two kobolds. In the breezeway, just outside the 1st floor Guest Room, sparsely spaced Iron rods glowing with a bright white light flood the stairwell and most of the breezeway to the right, leaving only a small patch of shadow (several feet) at the outer double doors leading to the small outer courtyard.

To the left the wide outer staircase, constructed of gray stone blocks that match the massive stone blocks of the outer wall, seems to absorb rather than reflect the light from the rods and winds its way up and out of sight. Voices can be heard, those of Tafari and Esilia the Pixie, from above in casual conversation, though Tafari’s seems to be a bit excited, in a gleeful sort of manner.

A closer inspection of the shadowed double outer doors reveals a hideous face lingering, crouched just at the edge of the shadow, and staring ominously into the lighted breezeway. Its eyes, brooding, almost leering, stare back at any whose eyes linger on it. It remains seated, unmoving and unaware or uncaring, before the two massive steel-belted wooden outer doors. It is one of the outer door Gargoyle Guards.

Rakjak

Rakjak looks at the gargoyle, his canine face scrunching up in a blanching look at the statues leering glare. He looks back to the others that followed him, namely Lyeara, shrugging and motioning towards the door outside and stairs leading to the next level, "You go out? Or we go up? I no care bout ta guy." He waits for her answer as he seems to not really care much about the decision and is just looking for something to ease his boredom.
