Fulp will walk to 9n, looking about on that side of the room. He will look for any exits or signs of exits (footprints going into a wall, etc.)

Sparrow is only slightly relieved to hear that this room may be empty.

I think most of us could easily jump that 5' span, no?

He nods at Ciar and heads to the first elevated area. 25n

He searches around the base a little. If he finds nothing, he climbs up to try to search the upper portion. u1

Ciar first goes to 15n then moves to 60n.

Not having a light source, Sorsha will wait near the others while Ciar and Sparrow search.

Sylvan, remembering what happened to dear Kassel, will continue to guard the northwest passage. "Careful, folks. Sparrow already mentioned how crafty these damnable kobolds can be. Mind the bridge!"

Leliana would follow Sylvan and guard the rear.

Round 0
"Where are they?" Sorsha whispers anxiously as she watches Ciar and Sparrow move in to begin to investigating the new chamber. The taller human appears noticeably relieved to finally be out of the cramped tunnels as he follows Ciar, his eyes straining unsuccessfully in the dark to look for signs of any tracks on the ground or elevated areas inside the cavern. After the halfling moves to inspect, and ultimately cross the bridge, Sparrow begins to search the base of the first elevated area. Fulp passes behind the dark-skinned warrior and heads to the opposite side of the room, looking for any signs of an exit. The rest of the group moves forward slowly, with Leliana representing the next to enter.

Ciar crosses the bridge, and is just about to investigate the fire pit when Sparrow elects to climb up the nearest ridge to explore the upper portion... and is greeted with a stabbing pain in his hand as reaches to the top of the ledge to pull himself up, and instead completely loses his grip and comes crashing down to the hard floor beneath him.

Their positions in concealment betrayed, a trio of kobolds rises from the hiding positions atop the nearest ridge and level bows, with nocked arrows. Two target the collection of targets assembled at the northern entrance, while the third turns and takes aim at Fulp to the south.

Having no range weapon to speak of (yet) and no ranged magic spell ready, Leliana instead pulls out her shield to deflect the arrows that may or may not come her way.

Figuring it's too late for any dweomers to help the party in combat, Sylvan lets Grim through, and will guard the passage through which they entered. He will keep an ear open, listening for those in need of healing.

Sparrow falls hard to the floor with his hand bleeding profusely. He rolls over and tries to stay as close to the base of the elevated platform as possible.

At least three of them up there! One stuck me pretty good with his spear!

He stands with his back to the wall and pulls out his net again, tossing it hook shot style over his shoulder, trying to ensnare as many of the vermin above him as possible.

Sorsha will tumble around the she-elfs left flank,
into area 21n and see if she can get an eye on the kobolds elevated position.
She raises her arm for a dagger throw and pauses then finally lets lose a spinning dagger.

Round 1
Sorsha tumbles behind Leliana, ending at up her left flank, and, eyeing a kobold, raises her arm and lets a dagger spin in its direction. "What's goin' on? Is it a fight? Lemme in!" Grim grumbles, forcing his way past Leliana, who, lacking a ranged weapons, steps aside and covers herself with her shield, and Sylvan, who assumes the role of watching the passage through which the group entered. The two kobolds nearest the northern side of the room let loose a volley of arrows... all targeting the rampaging dwarf, who feels the stick of two of them sink into his flesh. Sparrow falls hard to the floor with his hand bleeding profusely. He rolls over and tries to stay as close to the base of the elevated platform as possible. With his back to the wall, he pulls out his net and attempts to toss it blindly up and over the ledge. The kobold nearest to the edge swats the approaching net out of the way with its bow, and the net falls harmlessly back to the ground.

To the south, Fulp quickly moves looks to seek cover in an out-of-range corner, but the kobold taking aim against him is able to strike him once before the safety of coverage can be reached.

In the center of the chamber, Ciar pulls out his sling and fires a bullet at the trio of kobolds; his bullet plunking off the kobold positioned in the middle.

"There's five more of them," Ciar shouts, running back across the bridge and to the southern-most exit, dodging, ducking, dipping, diving, and dodging as he moves to try and avoid being hit. "Clear out. They have the advantage."

Assuming there is room to clear out, Fulp will exit with the others best he can, using whatever he can to hide from the arrows.

Sparrow heeds the words of the halfling and backs his way towards the exit.

He will use his shield to try to block any more spears or arrows that come his way.

Back up! Let's get out of here!

Leliana, despite wanting to fight, knows better "Little bastards! Since when do they strategize like this?"

She starts following the others as they retreat.

Grim pulls back into cover.

"Little bastards got me good this time." He then raises his voices and shouts:

"Ohr an-shamek leib"
