Character Creation
I will provide you with an array of 5 3d6 rolls (from the Autarch site). Select a class, and create a character. You may begin with max he for first level. If you wish to use a template from the players guide, I believe the equipment packages there cost 10 times the lower roll to buy that equipment.
Campaign ID is 335.
I ask that you NOT create a very detailed background to start. You are all new to the grim world of adventuring, you are all from this region, called the City-States. You know each other, and have banded together to seek your fortune. If you want to add a bit to that, that's fine, but I prefer to see these things evolve and develop in play.
We'll be starting in a village of Muntberg, close to Dwimmermount. Muntberg is near Adamas, one of the big City States in the area. Other major nearby City-States are Yethlyreom, a City of Lawful Necromancers, full of undead, and Retep City, a rival of Adamas several days south.
Available classes:
Human:
assassin, barbarian, bladedancer, cleric, explorer, fighter, mage, priestess (or priest), shaman, thief, venturer, and witch.
Cleric, bladedancer, priest or priestess characters need to discuss gods with me, since the classes are all tweaked a bit based on god. The most popular/respected gods are Tyche and Typhon.
Humans start out speaking Common by default.

Languages in Dwimmermount area:
Common: The trade and diplomatic language spoken by the nations and City-States that were once part of the Thulian Empire. This varies from place to place, so there is some chance of not understanding someone from a different area.
Low Thulian: The historical form of Thulian once spoken by the lower classes and subjects of the Thulian Empire. It is very similar to Common, but would seem archaic to modern ears. It will be understood by most speakers of common.
High Thulian: The elegant language of the aristocracy and scholars of today, it was the language of the literary classes in the Thulian Empire. It is also used in the Liturgies of the Church. This is the main language that someone who would consider themselves a scholar would want to know.

I put some mechanical bits at the bottom of your post. There are likely more to work on, but it's a start.
I also picked out a few proficiencies that seemed to fit. You get 2 general proficiencies, and 1 class proficiency. I picked some "outdoorsy" stuff for the general proficiencies, but there are other choices. For the class proficiency, I thought something that might be useful in combat or a dungeon might be a good idea.
I note that you chose very light armor, and you have not got a high dex, so you'll be super vulnerable. (It also makes explorer an interesting choice, since dex is a prime requisite of explorer). You can choose (and afford) armor up to chain, which would probably be a good idea, but if you want, you can go with light armor. Hide or Fur provides 1 AC, leather provides 2 AC, Ring or Scale provides 3 AC, and Chain provides 4 AC. A shield adds 1.
If you want a heavy, close faced helm (with horns) that would provide a -1 penalty to surprise, a -4 penalty to hear noise, but a +2 bonus on mortal wounds rolls. Is this the kind of thing you're looking for, or do you want this helm to be open faced, provide less protection, but not restrict your senses?
