So he took whatever he thought was good to carry. He certainly isn't gonna pass up an opportunity for treasure acquisition just because of the party's complete apathy.

This doesn't count the value of the weapons so if someone gets a weapon that would come out of their share of coins and gems. So Castran can put the gems back. The black sapphire may be more than your share to begin with if you were trying to get that one.
