ATTENTION PLEASE:

When you post in the game thread, please put your characters name/class at the top of the thread.
Also his current location as best you can under character name.
Any dialog in another color.
Any OOC questions/comments at bottom.

With seven players and multiple NPC I have to keep track of who is where & doing what.

If you have something you want to keep secret from the other players- SEND ME A PM.

Example:

Freddy Grocery Clerk
Right outside the door of the S-Mart store.

Freddy tries to run as quick as he can through the crowd of zombies to the Gun Shop across the street.
He yells Meat snack coming through!!! Shop smart! Shop S-Mart!!!
If successful he will try to break in and look around for weapons.

--------------------

OOC- Do I have to make an Agility test or what? Perception check to find guns? Is the Gun Store door locked?

Yes. Just keep it at the bottom separate , so I hopefully don't miss it.
Thanks.

In case anyone thinks this game is locked in to this location- the diner- it isn't. You are free to go anywhere and do anything.
(well, try anyway...) Its an open game. Its based on the real area I live in/around.

Could we get a map of the local area? Roads, towns, infrastructure, etc. Nothing specific, just what we may have noticed (collectively) as we travelled before arrival.

Yes, it will be very vague. Most of you have not been in the area before and only passed by at night.
Tucker is from the area, but not local. But he will know a bit more. ( I can give you through PM)
I'll get a rough map as soon as I can. I just didn't want anyone to think they were locked in to one spot.

How many vehicles appear to be in drivable condition? Barb's car is in good shape, correct? Anyone think we should try to get out of here? Kill the waitress zombie and get her keys?

I was thinking the same thing...heading for the safe zones around the cities...but it appears those will be nuked. Plan B?

Maybe we head the other way, go farther from the city. We should be able to find something easier to defend than the diner. Even if we have to get into someone's house it should be better than this. And if we are in the middle of nowhere there would likely be fewer zombies, not that this is a hotbed of activity, but going towards population centers should put us in contact with more zombies.

I will get a rough map up soon. Then you will have some more info to base your decision on where to go. You do not have to stay at the diner, or even stay together at all. If we have separate groups, I'll just make a new thread for each group!

Some basic info until then:
There is not much around within 5 miles of the diner. Fields, maybe a farm or two.
About 5 miles from here is the medical center.
Norms says his Uncle Lester has a body shop about 5 miles from here. Maybe some cars & gas.
Syrus wants to head into the wilderness/mountains. But lack of supplies, or roads that way.
Allentown is about 10 miles away.(population 120,000+)

If you have other ideas , you can talk to the locals or other players.

Sorry guys. Im swamped with work & school. I'll get a map up soon. It looks like you are still deciding anyway. You do not have to all agree- you can split up- its all up to you. I will just have a different thread for each group. No peeking! :D

Gives everyone time to catch up, plan, etc.
