Joining Trendt, Freddie moves to the door and unties the knob, rolls the cage back. Speaking in Hobgoblin, assuming the language crosses over, he says, Egress little monsters. Try anything untoward and Sammy and Trendt will smite you well indeed.
Come now -- out out out!

Trendt gives Freddie a curious look "Uh, betray us, and I will fong you, until your insides are out, your outsides are in, your entrails will become your extrails I will w-rip... all the p... ung. Pain, lots of pain." I couldn't resist.

AleBelly wrote:"The burning oil approach worked well last time, and based on what the captured kobolds have told us, it seems very doubtful they possess any artifacts that could be burned in such a fire" suggests Adel. Looking towards Sammy with a grin, he says "or, we could just waltz in and attack everything."
Coppish "I think Fanxyl would not appreciate his gear being incinerated...?"
Adel blushes as the weakness in his logic is exposed to the rest of the party. "Ah, um, yes. Being one who doesn't wear armor and owns few possessions, equipment is something I seem to have overlooked in this instance."
As Freddie moves to open the door, Adel considers masking himself in the shadows of the kobold barracks, but then thinks that a show of strength in numbers will be better. He finds an open space in the room, roughly 20' from the door, and preemptively sets his spear against any kobold attack (will roll next round if needed).

Gwennethel backs up from the doorknob and puts her hands on her hips saying to Freddie, "so, you must think you can do a better job of untying this knot than I am?"

Please do the honors while I knock an arrow and stand back a bit. If the little devils mean us harm, well, I'll skewer the little miscreants.

Gwennethel finishes untying the knot, grinning at Freddie, and throws the rags by the wall. "There. Call them out, burn the door down or storm in."She readies her bow.

"Here comes the storm." Sammy says as he throws the door open and rushes in. "ARRRRGGGGHHHH" he yells as he rushes in looking for something to hit.
OOC: Just gotta maintain character.
Gwennethel unties the doorknob while Corun helps Trendt and Sammy move the iron cage away from the door. Trendt has called out for the kobolds to surrender or die.
The party waits a few seconds to see if there will be a surrender and the door cracks open just a bit. One kobold head peaks out from around the door and he sizes up the party then laughs hideously.
The kobold prisoner that is still holding the big handful of moss suddenly makes noise from behind his gag. "MMMM!!! MMMM!!! MMMM!!! The kobold prisoner throws the pile of moss straight at the other kobold's face as he begins jumping up and down. The prisoner has a filthy look on his face that says he's clearly angry with the other kobold.
The kobold behind the door waves his short sword at the two kobold prisoners that are with the party and growls out to them, "you traitors die with the humans!" The door is slammed shut and footsteps are heard as it runs away, but Sammy has had enough of this nonsense and he bursts through the door to see the kobold disappearing past a corner to the left side of a hallway going west beyond the door. The area in there is lit up well and the sounds of many kobolds preparing for battle can be heard, though nothing appears just yet.
The two kobold prisoners appear to have taken the party's side against their own and are fussing with their bonds and gags. They appear to want weapons to help them attack the others.

Adel, smirking and shaking his head, follows the others in, maintaining the third rank. If those ahead of him form a line four across instead of two, he will be ready with his spear in the second rank to engage in melee. As he walks in, he calls to the elf that just joined his party:
Gwennethel takes a step forward and yanks the gag off the Kobold mouth that threw moss at the other Kobolds. She looks at both Biblo and Trendt and says, "ask this Kobold what is going on? Why does he seem to be angry with the other Kobold?"
