Planning on an elf or half-elf Fighter/MU. Not sure which method I will use to roll him up.
Will start later today

Whats the campaign ID for the dice roller?
A little bit of damage is good for the system

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
I'll be going halfling fighter/thief. Fling Dinderbottom at your service!
EDIT: Just realized that there is some controversy about character creation and experience, so it remains to be seen whether Fling will be a fighter thief or just a regular old thief.

hi
EDIT: Due to elf fighter level limits, I'm not quite sure what I'm going to be yet, I will decide tonight

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
I wouldn't say "controversy". I'm just interested in the reasoning behind the two different totals.
I'll go ahead and take the cleric role. Race is dependent on advancement possibilities (questions posted in other thread).
edit: lol, I see shaidar just posted about 1/2 orc F/C. UA level limits?

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
Yeah. But with a max wis of 14 you hit 4th level
I'll return to my original idea, a half-elf fighter/mu, he should have a couple of levels left in each class
Sorry to have messed you around

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
OK, just saw DM's clarifications.
I am working up a character...a strange one...dual class cleric/thief.
A few levels of cleric and switched to thief. He was a man of the cloth, but has since lost his way. He's prays to whomever will grant him spells today (and is able to slip under the radar, being low level) and still has a few spells, but now he's a temple raider/tombraider, shunned by his former compatriots.

Hmm, if I'm going to be the only cleric, I may switch things a bit...

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
So regarding character race/class selection: don't necessarily let another's choice (or no one's choice) affect yours - unless EVERYONE chooses fighter, e.g.
I will balance the party out with NPCs, esp. Clerics.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
working on equipment and so forth for my character for if you need me. I went with max starting gold 200 and added the 2,000 mentioned and have been deducting the cost of items.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
if anyone wants to know how to put an image on your roller sheet it is html <img src="img url"></img> is what works like on my sheet. Just edit for description and background and input in description.
I didn't make any weapons or armor +1 or anything didn't know what the cost would be unless you are simply saying we have "found" them in prior adventuring lives.

Working on the character. He'll have a few levels of Thief and the rest as Illusionist. He broke into an Illusionist's tower to steal from him and became his apprentice.
edit: Dang! Just rolled using my character generator using method II: 18, 18, 18, 16, 14, 13

It would be tempting to play something else with scores like that! But I like the idea of the combination and story you provide as well!barna10 wrote:Working on the character. I had a 14th level Illusionist back in the day. He actually had an artfact (Crystal of the Ebon Flame - very low power). His last adventure was the Land behind the Magic Mirror.

Re: Out of Character (ooc) chat
I will either give them to each player, or allow them to select from some options - these would have been acquired in adventuring. I also may have them bequested by the High elven queen of Celene for the party to use in their quest.GreyWolfVT wrote:if anyone wants to know how to put an image on your roller sheet it is html <img src="img url"></img> is what works like on my sheet.
