Hello Everyone

#1 Post by LilacBird »

You can call me Lilac. I am a newbie to D&D. Actually, when my children were little I DM'd (before computers--does that tell my age?) for my family. Very short time though & I really didn't know what I was doing then. Now, one of my kids has talked me into playing again. Life is a circle, or at least a spiral. Here we go, again! Looking forward to the ride!

Hi Lilac! Enjoy Unseen Servant! This is a great group of people and there are a lot of fun games all around--here's hoping the bug gets you and you find a number of games to your liking around here :) More official types will stop in soon I'm sure to say hello and get you situated, but if you have questions about how anything happens around here just toss them out and someone will provide a helpful and friendly answer!

Best,

KE

Welcome to the Unseen Servant, Lilac!

Since you're both new here and new(ish) to RPGs, you might want to start here:

viewtopic.php?f=33&t=858

If you're interested in joining a game and want to find out more about the DM running the game, quite a few of them have provided some information on how they run their games here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2417

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. RPG-related questions should go under the "RPG Discussion" section of the forum.

Again, welcome to the forum!

Welcome!

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Welcome to the Unseen Servant Diz's Mom! Now as we play we can hear embarrassing stories about the life of young Diz.
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.

Hahah! Good one MW!

You are really Diz's Mom? Oh you poor dear!

Let me say welcome and thank you at the same time then. Your children are excellent players and it's been really fun getting to know them a little and playing with them on here. You must be an excellent teacher. :D

You could all get into the same game on here and it would be just like old times.......well sorta. ;)

Glad to have you aboard "Mom"!
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
