He asks
"We'll need to go there then. Which of the new owners are listed as in attendance today please Miss Tiller?"
"Certainly. Both Duchess Muktheswara and Admiral Noster are here. If you will follow me? "
She leads you several hundred meters into the station, which seems to be bustling with people and cargo, to a very interesting arrangement. There is a side corridor that seems to curve into a 90-degree angle though people are walking down the curve to your location without issue. It is a very creative use of grav technology.
When you follow her up the curving slope, you will find the entrance to a grav train car--one of several linked together like a train--and she will take you in.
"Please, have a seat. It will take us a few minutes to make the trip."
The interior of the cars are made for carrying lots of people in comfortable seats or standing. Your guide will chivvy people out of the seats with her ID.
When one part of the starport might be dozens of kilometers--or more--away, this makes sense. There are likely a lot of these scattered around. The tube is almost certainly in vacuum, so the cars can likely achieve very high speeds.
In less than ten minutes, you are at the nose of the spaceport. There have been a number of stops, but the crowds seem used to getting on and off efficiently. From the final stop, she takes you forward to a guarded hatch. There are starport security personnel there, but they step aside when she presents her ID.
Past the hatch is a palace. There's no other word for it. Room after room ostentatiously showcasing wealth and prestige. Here the starport security personnel are joined by what appear to be Imperial Navy security personnel and some ducal guards. These people do block the group from proceeding any farther.
"These are backup support personnel for the owners with an important message," Jessica said.
"Please let us through."
A ducal guard looks at a Navy security type and both of them shake their heads. The guard turns back to face the group.
"We're not expecting anyone, and I don't recognize these people. I'll need to see some identification."
The various security people seem to be perking up.
