LFP AD&D STATUS: FULL
Hello everyone. I’m new to Unseen Servant. I’m hoping to run a 1e play by post.
I would be looking for four to six players who can post at least daily. I don’t have a lot of house rules, I try to stay close to by the book. Players would be making their own dice rolls.
It would be a sandbox style game that takes place in my own setting. I enjoy all aspects of the game. Exploration, RP, killing and looting, in any combination. Wherever the party wants to take the game

Welcome, GregS!
This site has a strong foundation in AD&D so I'm guessing you won't have much trouble attracting interested players.
Good luck!

Welcome to The Unseen Servant, GregS!
I’ve got some games in slow motion at the moment, so I’d be willing to roll up a character.
Like Rex, I’d love to hear more about your setting.

Re: LFP AD&D
Sure. I can post most days and with some characters in archived games, have some space to roll up a new character.

Re: LFP AD&D
I may be interested in this. What are your house rules?
Re: LFP AD&D
I would be interested as well.
Re: LFP AD&D
Looks like there should be enough interest.
Re: LFP AD&D
For house rules, that’s a little hard to answer. I don’t have a list of my own rules that override the rules in the book. I have my interpretations of rules that are confusing or unclear. Surprise, for instance. I run it that if both parties are surprised, the difference in the rolls is the number of surprise segments. If one party is surprised, the number on their die is the number of surprise segments. I think that’s a common interpretation, but I’ve seen others. That’s one example.
The setting I call Broken World. It’s a standard D&D setting that has suffered a world wide catastrophe. The world is overrun by evil, the “peaceful races” are scattered thinly and fighting for survival. Endless opportunities for adventure.

GregS I'm interested any time a 1e or 2e game comes up. Feel free to hit me up if you ever need players.

Hey Greg > summer is coming up and I will have some free time, so if you need another player let me know. Otherwise I will lurk and enjoy from afar

Winter is coming...
Re: LFP AD&D
The campaign has been created, and I’m ready to add players. Message me if you want to be added to the group. Sorry for the slowness, I’m on the wrong side of the learning curve here.

PMed you as well, but yes please add me
Re: LFP AD&D
Everything takes time, but this is a good bunch of people. Have you considered asking some of the more experienced DMs (that's not me, by the way) for advice?
Re: LFP AD&D
By all means just speak up if you need some help with anything. More then glad to try and help out. I am not the most computer savvy but I know my way around pretty well.
