Malone jolts awake. 'Sorry, I think it was the water.' He follows the others to the battlements and watches what happens.

"These carvings prove nothing of the makers character. I knew several soldiers of the most unsavory type, yet they were maasterful knitters when it came to socks." Malone will place a foot on one side of the boat, testing it.

Malone stays by the door, shortsword prepares. He didn't like enclosed spaces, not enough room to manuever. There was always a wall in the way.

"I doubt traps still linger here, not to offend the builders of course, but this place feels so old..."

Buzz

Malones smiles, "As I understood a dwarf might be fine with defenses like this, just as long as he had a very shiny new axe or sword." He looks around inspecting the insides of the fortifications. "Maybe this wasn't the best idea..."

Buzz

Malone pulls his halberd off his back and will move into cover as the others do so. "Perhaps we should talk with him, I mean, maybe it's more human then it appears."

Buzz

Malone quietly snickers to himself as Andrin talks to the ducks, On hearing of the creature that never sleeps He draws his halberd. "I'm not worried about the tadpole, but this guardian. What never sleeps? A golem?"

Buzz

Malone till take an experimental step on the bridge, if it seems to hold, he will move his other foot to it was well.

"We do still have plenty of time, let's go ahead and move. We can break later." Malone finishes splaching his face. "Stonjuz, think you can wait on that cleaning?"

Buzz

"I would like to see how the weed tastes by itself, boiled into soup. Back on the coast we used to drink it whenever somebody ccaught a cold."

Buzz

"The lake isn't that far. Besides it's unlikely we will se the bats at this time of day." If the others insist on resting he will begin the short walk himself. He really wants to completely wash his face off.

Buzz

"Onward then! toward the rising sun!"

Buzz

"Yet, who knows what else lurks in this swamp. Who know, maybe we'll com to face mister lizard man here." Mlone taps the statuette and chuckles. "Stonjuz, if you need help with the meet I will lend a hand, just show me where not to cut."

Buzz

"Give us a few minutes. I need a breath." He scrunches his eyes, "By heavens that stings." He pulls out a waterskin and takes a sip, then rinses his eyes.

"I was thinking of a good pair skin boots myself."

Malone shakes off his confusion and strikes again the single lizard he combats with.

Sorry for not posting, I assumed I could take combat action so as might as well be passed over.

Malone does what he can to wipe the spit from his eyes, trying not to get hit during the process.

OOC :Save vs. Wands: [1d20] = 12 Malone saves for wands at 16. Guess he wasn't so lucky.

Buzz

Malone steps foreward in front of the rest of the party, ready to strike the first lizard to come in range.
