Re: Chapter 3: Rafting down the pink river

I thought per post #2 the mushrooms had been secured tightly against the raft with rope and spike, to prevent freewheeling separately (and also stabilizing the whole given more surface space.) I hadn’t heard much on Siouxsie’s ideas in post #2 except from Androgost and Qleceec, so she’ll just go ah...

Thanks that clarifies some https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54424566871_4e3f75864a.jpg But a question on “The Crossing’ and directions referred to by the flying giants: There is a spot well down the highway, much farther than you have gone that allows you to cross between this plane and the Para-...

Re: Chapter 3: Rafting down the pink river

Siouxsie looked contemplative. She had been pondering their travels and clues to what had been causing the earthquakes. The druid shared her thoughts. The Silver Spring dwarves belief that it's the illithids doesn't feel right. It strikes me that the Illithid, who are not terribly far from the dwarv...

Re: OOC Chat

Hi All, I was finally able to read through all the backstory so now I have a better grasp of the past and clues to the earthquake sources. The question is one of motivation. The Shtelke and their Princely Born dragon lack a motivation (and the power). The Silver Spring dwarves belief that it's the i...

Re: Chapter 3: Rafting down the pink river

Souixsie, druid Souixsie surveys the mushroom and fungoidal flora of the area to identify if any have healing properties, or long hollow stalks that could be used to breath from under water. I too possess a spell to make one person breath underwater , says the druid. Having only two among the party...

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring

Side tunnels that the group has bypassed Before the meeting the dwarves - the group skipped two left tunnels and one right tunnel. When the dwarves were leading the group to the "mind flayer" area - you were lead past one branch to the left and two to the right. After talking with the &qu...

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring

Even if a path continued east past the lava, there was no way to get the whole group past the burning river. I vote we try to clear the caved-in rocks, said Souixsie the druid, thinking that the only safe option… …Unless there is some alternate path earlier back that I’m not aware of, not having pla...

If we think a lava child could answer questions, I vote to question it, said Souixsie the druid.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring

I envisioned Souixsie further back on the map after my post saying she moved to the back.

From the back, Souixsie spun her sling-staff and let loose a stone at the flying demon creature. She hoped that if the leader fell, the children would loose their motivation.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring

Not having magic effective against these fire-born creatures, Siouxsie was reluctant to engage. Was there an alternate path forward? From the back of the group, the druid was ready with her sling staff to hurl a stone, or retreat. I'm still looking over all the PCs so I don't really know how tough t...

Re: The Mars Bar (OOC and player chat)

I hope to do Evangeline shopping this weekend looking in the rule book for stuff, but don’t let that stop things from advancing. Perhaps the scene shifts to the destination.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring

Siouxsie didn’t know what type of creature this was, but its sharp claws, sadistic face and demonic body made it untrustworthy. She realized the lava fires were not magical, negating her Precipitation fog idea. With parley and strategy ineffective, as the Fates usually made such in places undergroun...

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring

Is there any chance (Int check?) Souixsie or others may know what this creature is? Based on appearance alone, it doesn’t seem trustworthy. A DM question about Precipitation spell: Given the lava, high temperature and humidity here, would the fog be generated per the note about 90+ degrees? If so, ...

Re: GAME

In absence of Valdus response…

Aye, east then, said Hogarth.

Dirk carefully picked up the gold bracelet with the tip of a dagger and wrapped it in cloth until he could clean it in water.
