Re: Action Thread 3

Herzog: Engages with remaining Ogre. Probably taking the full action to get from point A to Point B near Ethwig, as Giants are hard for Gnomes to scramble over ;)

Re: Action Thread 3

Herzog: Remaining in position, ready to strike when combat is engaged - hopefully backstabbing when the opportunity is best.

Herzog

*wipes drool from chin, realizing he nodded off for a bit... felt like a couple months...takes in the current situation quietly*

Re: OOC

Honestly, this hiatus has been beneficial to me - my work situation is out of control, I'm 71 'man hours' short of a full operating kitchen schedule (there are 2 of us full time, and 1 part time chef). I've been working around 70 hours per week. Hopefully this will calm down this week.

Re: Action Thread 1

Herzog searches the room for anything unusual, remarkably out of place, or 'somewhat obvious' - no intent of a prolonged search, just a cursory observation beyond just doors and drool.

Re: Action Thread 1

Herzog remembers that his weapon is supposed to be slicked with the blood... in this case, Ogre blood. And by the look of the rolls... To hit: [1d20+4] = 15+4 = 19, damage with 'Kingfisher' (spear): [1d6+4] = 4+4 = 8 Yeeeeehaw! (edited for note: I forgot to add in my bonus against large creatures an...

Re: Strategy Thread 1

(Herzog) Do we want to execute the snoring giants? I could go invisible, sneak past and kill the buggers fairly clean - since we are in a silenced zone. If we minimize the blood, or diminish the light, we could create the same 'illusion' that we did upstairs. Or I could just join in and whack on the...

Re: Strategy Thread 1

I am all for backstabbing the bastards. I do have invisibility potions, but I've been loathe to use them yet. I do not want any sort of alarm, despite my character's delight in slaughter. If we can execute this battle quietly, we are definitely in the advantage.

Re: Strategy Thread 1

As much as I like feeding the cute puppies, it would behoove us to make him appear to still be sleeping in a drunken stupor. The less attention we call to ourselves, the safer we will be.

Re: Strategy Thread 1

I'd be willing to go on the earlier end, since I have levels as a fighter as well as a thief. If anyone thinks it prudent, I could also go invisible for the foray (potion).

Herzog, Gnome Fighter/Thief

Herzog fidgets, checks the edge of all weapons methodically, and waits for the moment of blood letting... watching the sun set slowly...
