Thanks Dave.
Strangely enough, I was getting more hits after I quit than before! But I am guessing most of those were folks interested in the video game, not my solo PbP game.

Re: Reader Comments
I am going to put this game on hiatus. I'd like to come back to it at some point but, for now, I don't have the desire to keep running it. I think it's been a very useful exercise on how to run a SWN game. I like SWN a lot. However, I've come across some things about my game that have given me pause...

Re: 03 - Running the Daggerburg Gauntlet
Combat round 1, con'd Before the goblins are able to get close enough to kill Senorix, Dagr reaches down and smacks him, hard, on the side of the head. He awakens with a start. The goblin attacking him still has the advantage, since Senorix is prone, but cannot deliver a coup de grace. He manages t...

Re: 03 - Running the Daggerburg Gauntlet
Rescues are available but they are exclusive to PCs so Dain can't do it. I think one that would make the most sense here would be someone trying to wake Senorix before the goblins arrive to shiv him. The Rescuer needs to make an Initiative check so Dagr would be the logical choice. If that succeeds...

Re: 03 - Running the Daggerburg Gauntlet
Combat Round 1 The goblins laugh and draw their shortswords. They are unnaturally confident considering the number disadvantage. The reason why becomes clear very quickly, as two more goblins, these wearing ebon cloaks and wielding staves, step out of the shadows and weave dark magic. One of the da...

Lasrel says, We could go now if you are ready. Time is of the essence. We don't know what they're doing to any of the kidnap victims, or if they're even still in the area.

Re: 03 - Running the Daggerburg Gauntlet
Lasrel relaxes visibly when you mention Sister Sondal, and even cracks a smile when you talk about doing some good. It is good that you have arrived when you did. We have been plagued with ever-increasing goblin attacks of late, and now we're seeing them becoming more bold, and kidnapping our citize...

House of Faith Town of Harken The House of Faith is a large temple built by an adventuring cleric of yore and it looks like recent construction has improved the inside and outside. Sister Sondal, a kindly middle-aged human woman, explains that the growth in the population of the Barony has prompted...

I was re-reading the older threads and I am reminded that there was a negative consequence when we stole the Yuma back. I need to create a Nemesis for Adam. Let's hit Persons of Interest . Motive - I'm going to choose here, versus a random roll. The motive is Hatred, to ruin and destroy a hated ene...

Kalton Manor Back in the days when Nerath was settling the Nentir Vale, minor lords in search of land to call their own established manors and holds throughout the area.
