I totally understand. I would volunteer to take this game over, but I'm already running three PbP games on other forums and I'm stretched pretty thin as it is.

Technically, it's a system-neutral module. I have just chosen to use OSRIC rules to run it.

Swinging his axe again, Gorek misses this time.

Attacking Giant Centipede [1d20+1] = 6+1 = 7

Seeing the vermin crawl out of the pile of rubble, Gorek snarls. Readying his axe, he swings at one of the crawling insects.

Gorek gets a +1 to hit and damage from his Strength modifier.
[1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20

Damage:
[1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6

"Take THAT you nasty buggers!!!"

Gorek will search through the pile of rubble, carefully watching for anything unexpected as he crosses in front of the archway.

OOC: Is it apparent where the pile of rubble came from (e.g. a damaged wall or ceiling)?

"Well...If anything happens, Moradin will be waiting for me in the after-life."

Gorek pulls the lever.

"We best be very cautious in here. These are the type of places that are wrought with traps." Gorek examines the area for any indications of danger.
