It's obviously been a while since I checked this thread. Sorry!

We still have a need for a magic user if anyone wants to join the game.

Re: Sorry to say this...

No hard feelings.

I totally understand. I would volunteer to take this game over, but I'm already running three PbP games on other forums and I'm stretched pretty thin as it is.

Shoot me a PM if your situation changes and you need an angry dwarf to kill some green skins.

Good luck!

Re: First Expedition to the Barrowmaze

With anger in his eyes, Gorek grabs his axe with both hands, and brings the blade up over his head and attempts to cleave one of the giant centipedes.

"AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!"

To hit: [1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18, damage with axe: [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6

I'd like to play this.
I know, right?

I felt the same way when I saw it for the first time.

I'm excited about this module.

I'm in.
Technically, it's a system-neutral module. I have just chosen to use OSRIC rules to run it.

Re: First Expedition to the Barrowmaze

Once again, Gorek attacks the creepy-crawlys with his axe.

To hit: [1d20+1] = 4+1 = 5, damage with axe: [1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4

...and once again, Gorek misses.

OOC: I've saved a macro that has both to-hit and damage rolls in it, so both will be on my post even when the to-hit roll is a miss.

The Tomb of Rakoss the Undying

Re: First Expedition to the Barrowmaze

Swinging his axe again, Gorek misses this time.

Attacking Giant Centipede [1d20+1] = 6+1 = 7

Re: First Expedition to the Barrowmaze

Seeing the vermin crawl out of the pile of rubble, Gorek snarls. Readying his axe, he swings at one of the crawling insects.

Gorek gets a +1 to hit and damage from his Strength modifier.
[1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20

Damage:
[1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6

"Take THAT you nasty buggers!!!"

Re: First Expedition to the Barrowmaze

Gorek will search through the pile of rubble, carefully watching for anything unexpected as he crosses in front of the archway.

OOC: Is it apparent where the pile of rubble came from (e.g. a damaged wall or ceiling)?

"We best be very cautious in here. These are the type of places that are wrought with traps." Gorek examines the area for any indications of danger.

Re: First Expedition to the Barrowmaze

A rumbling sound is heard, as the sarcophagus Rolls away, revealing stairs leading downwards(!!). It is dusty, but you see footprints in the dust of the stairs. (Congrats!) Quite proud of his stone-working prowess, the dwarf observes the sarcophagus move to reveal the dusty stairs. With a stifled c...

Re: First Expedition to the Barrowmaze

Looking at the Skeletons on the sarcophagus, you see that one of the heads is not the same as the others, it is slightly larger then the rest, and after careful examination, you realize it is a button. What the Button does when you press down on it is a guess... "Well, hello there." Gorek...

Gorek examines the black painted walls, looking for irregularities in the stone surfaces as he runs his fingers across the walls feeling as well as looking for anything that would indicate a lever or hidden latch. Performing the same type of inspection on the sarcophagus, Gorek pays particularly clo...
