Baltir huffs and nods...then leads the way out of this room and into the next room in the direction they were travelling.

(OOC: Just assume it's the next closest room, please. Post-by-post without maps are hard to track. )

Baltir growls in frustration.

"Don be doing that, KEnnelm....dang it!"

He ignores the request and tips the chest over with his boot.

"Meh, I guess we're done here..."

Baltir snaps his attention to the direction the words were spoken. Bringing his flail and shield to the ready, he replies loudly and gruffly:

"SHow yerself!"

Baltir once again snorts and puts the destroyed axe head in his bag along with putting the handle in his belt.

He takes out his flail

"Bah, I've got a stinkin' backup," he says very gruffly, as he kicks the chest over on it's side.

"Freakin' worthless."

"Bah! Crappy human craftmanship!" Baltir spits out in disgust at his cheaply made axe that he paid full price for. If it was a dwarven axe this kind of puny thing wouldn't have even chipped it. "Aye, bad luck for *you* Kenelm cuz yer going ta be the only frontline warrior now." ...

Baltir takes a look at the chest and aims at the lock this time. He lines his axe up and swings down.

Damage: 8

The dwarf looks to Darius:

"Ken ya open this thing or do I haf'ta keep choppin? I'd hate to break the chest and all..."

Baltir stops at the top of his next swing...before the chop.

"See Kenelm, ya rat? Not a scratch!" he shows off his axe before bending over to look to see if the chest has a latch or lock or something.

"Damage mah...." the dwarf huffs indignantly and raises his axe to strike down on the chest. He *was* concerned about the contents of the chest but now his pride swells too much to care. Swinging down he lets otu a loud battle cry.

"Magic??" Baltir says, making his axe creak under more pressure from his tightening hands. He seems to be trying to not appear nervous...and failing.

“Bah, this is weird! This place is totally falling apart, but the food was hot and ready. You guys think theres a ghost or something around?” Baltir asks, gripping his axe tighter.

(OOC: Assuming no one whines about it. )

Baltir, apparently finished with this room, looks to the others before moving out of this room and into the next closest room that they've not checked out already.

baltri goes to the sack, picks it up and opens it.

Baltir takes out a knife and cuts into the mattress in search of the source of the sound.

Baltir pauses to listen then takes a look for where the sound came from.

Baltir steps up to the bed and overturns it to see what else is under it. It seems most foolish to bend down and get on his hands and knees to look, so the dwarf uses his hands to overturn the bed to get a better look at what (if anything) else is under the bed

baltir pulls his foot back and attempts to squash it under his boot.

"Nothing 'ere," he says as he moves over to the other side of the bed/table to see what, if anything, is there as well
