Re: Search for Cillian
Did we get a description of the adventurers from the priests? If so Hildr will speak up and describe them.

you could have gotten a description easy enough. when telling the description the man does not remember seeing them

Sarin "I think that is all for now thank you. Where is the local Sheriff's barracks located?" he asks.

Felix
Shrugs his shoulders
Nope not enough either.
I think we are wasting our time here. This town is to small. We will find no help here. We should press on and try to find what direction the other party took. Maybe they will have something we can use when we find their corpses. This is the exact reason I became a Wizard and not a priest. Priest think everyone should help them take care of their problems when they piss off demons and devils. Wizards find their own spells guard them with their lives and don't expect anything from anyone. I guess they are just a greedy as the Alchemists around here.

Re: Search for Cillian
Sarin "Do what you will I am still going to go see the local Sheriff." being in his line of work the roguish half-elf knows most folk probably went to the authorities or figures that is the next likely place they would have gone.

The town guard barrack in the towers by the 2 gates in and out of the city. the guard captain would be at one of them north or south tower, not sure which one he travels between the two.

Sarin hands over payment already deducted from sheet. "Thank you sir." he says as he leaves and heads to the closer of the guard towers.

Hildr
Hildr heads with Sarin. "Good idea, talking to the town guard."
To Xanthe, "You called yourself a messenger of Hermes, is that like a priest?"

Xanthe
Xanthe follows along.
"No I am not a priest. I am a messenger that carries whatever needs carrying. The best messengers serve Hermes, we have a code we follow. Because of the code people sending important messages or items somewhere quickly often use us, since they know we can be trusted. My skills are varied, so that I can deal with many different situations and focus more on evasion and speed, thus light armor and weapons. Speed is essential. I grew up traveling with my fathers caravan so I have more skill with weapons than most messengers, but its not my focus."

You arrive at the south gate. beside the gate is a tower with platforms at the top the guards stand at watching those coming and going.

Re: Search for Cillian
Sarin approaches one of the guards and says "Good day my good men. Might I ask if the captain or sheriff is here in the tower?"

Re: Search for Cillian
Sarin "Well I am trying to track down a group of adventuring folk that left here roughly a week ago. We are trying to catch up with them as it turns out our own mission here ties into the one they were on. The church said they went off in search of something relating to what they brought here in a metal box. It wasn't treasure by the way we found that out." he informs the sarg. "I thought perhaps they spoke with captain of the guard or a sheriff of some sort maybe. The apothecary had no idea who i was talking about. But the church said they left here looking for something a match to what they brought here and the information of it's location was rather a riddle. So we were hoping to figure out which way the group may have gone."
