Besides, you've got to have powerful bad guys to make great gaming stories.

That's okay. I was actually worried that I hadn't checked in on the game lately.

Folks: My mother is in the hospital, dealing with what we think is congestive heart failure. If I take too long to respond, Please NPC my characters.
If you have any positive vibes to send her way, please do.

Thanks, guys. It looks like things will sort out OK, but I wanted to be a little pre-emptive if I suddenly went radio silent.

"I'm gonna be pulling bits of that guy out of my teeth for hours. I don't suppose anyone has a toothpick?"
:lorcl: For a while, I ran a were-bear who would say similar things. He was a barbarian, and believed that he was being posessed by his god when he shifted. Often, after he'd shifted back to human, he'd cough up a finger or an ear and say "I really wish The Bear wouldn't do that..."

OK, color me dumb. Has SST 4 finished their mission? Or do we need to convince the locals to leave us alone for a while yet?

Folks: my personal life is changing, and I'm finding that RPG's don't hold the appeal they always have. I'm taking a hiatus for a while. I don't know when or if I'll be back. The game has been a lot of fun, and I've enjoyed the friendship.
If anyone is wondering; Mom is improving slowly, and will be heading home soon.
Good luck to you all!

Hey everyone!

We will be having a new player join both the SST 4 and SST 11 games, benilusbob!

For the SST 4 game, he's going to be playing a Sailor who had been a Submariner and developed powers of 'Fish in the Water' (i.e. for a brief time he can breath underwater and move like a fish) and 'Pressure Wave', where he sends out a pressure wave attack that can hit a couple of targets and possible really harm them and/or knock them off their feet.

No character concept just yet for the Forceman character, but hopefully soon!

Thanks again for joining us 'bob', welcome to the crazy, wacky 'World War 2 Supers' world!

Skill points will be:
Melee Weapons to 7D (6 or 7 points?)
Guns to 6D+2 (6 points)
1 or 2 points remaining.
