Re: Spell & Tactical Planning Discussions
I know Warcraft made Dwarves sound Irish/Scottish. Warhammer I don't know, I never played a Dwarf army. I've always been an Orcs & Goblins guy. I know in Slavic Mythology they live in mines protecting gems, crystals, and other precious minerals and metals. They protect miners by guiding them back from where they were lost or if you're evil they will hurt you by throwing rocks at you or throwing you down a chasm also causing tunnels to collapse on you.
Re: Spell & Tactical Planning Discussions
I would recommend the following strategy, tie up the Gnolls, loot them, find out if they were sent by the Queen and then eliminate them unless we are 100% sure they are "randoms".
Re: Spell & Tactical Planning Discussions
Sounds like a good plan to me.

I agree with that plan. Simple, straight to this point.

Well I took the liberty of the looting part and all that but nobody said what they wanted to ask in "gnoll" language so wasn't sure exactly the line of questions being asked to them.

Egon doesn't speak gnoll and wouldn't believe anything they say anyways.

Trist
Trist comments, "Let me see if they know common."
Trist puts her weapons away and has Jivet on her shoulder. "Jivet, perhaps these gnolls will tell us a few things. Let's go find out."
Trist moves to the group of gnolls tied up saying softly in non-threatening moves, "Who sent you? My friends may have some questions for you too. Perhaps you can tell us where this person is so we can clear up a misunderstanding."

Re: Spell & Tactical Planning Discussions
I did make a post stating that I know how to speak Gnoll. But I don't know how I learned it.
Though what ask the Gnolls, I honestly don't know. I've been gone for months remodeling my house so I haven't followed on what's been going on. If anyone can give me a quick recap, I can improve something.

Re: Spell & Tactical Planning Discussions
I know this is for PC Tactic chatting.... But I just wanted to throw this out there that I'm thinking on this really long and hard and thinking that once we finish B12 I am going to keep the game running and probably dive into some of the other B modules if one is a good fit for going on from here with the PC levels. What this means is that anyone still in game that does not have a character they made they will have the opportunity to do so (create their own) if they so chose this also allows me to keep the group going if that is what you all desire. Granted I have no idea how many months from now it will take to take out the BBEG/W aka the Queen.

Re: Spell & Tactical Planning Discussions
This would also allow me to potentially add Darklin2 as he did PM me looking to join up. I am playing around with him joining a bit sooner but I don't wish to ruin the "surprise" not in the form I did once in the past mind you learned my lesson no Assassins hunting you as PCs.

Re: Spell & Tactical Planning Discussions
I've been skimming the other B modules and I think B10 Night's Dark Terror could paid up fairly well with the two you all have almost entirely completed in this game and it claims to be for levels 3-4 which is perfect imo.
