After another almost perfect stay, we came back to some real crap. Not just the lousy 85 degree temperature swing either. My wife’s car was hit and run in the lot of the hotel where we parked. Of course it was dark out when we got there so we didn’t even notice until we got home 100 miles later. About 2 grand in damage.

Then when I got to work today, I learned that we have switched over to a new computer system that I now have no idea how to run. So I guess after I’m done playing catch-up on the old stuff I’m behind on from being off, I can relearn how to do everything I know a new and much much better way.

Anyhoo, if my skull full of pudding is still functional after all that, I should be able to play catch-up on anything I missed around here while I was gone. If you are currently waiting on a reply from me about anything in game, please remind me what it is so I can get it addressed. Thanks!

The car thing sucks. Happened to me a couple of years ago. My wife took my car and left it at the airport lot while she went on a trip. Brought it back with a big ding in the fender. She hadn't checked it before she drove off, so there was nothing we could do about it.

I sometimes think that this game is the only thing keeping me sane.

And yes, I do actually have a real job. How do you think I can afford to go on vacation all the time?

On a happier note....

We managed to find a new carver, waaaaaay down on the end of the beach, who does custom requests. His stuff looked pretty cool so I gave him an idea and told him to put his own flare into it.

This was the result.

Carved from 100 year old cypress root. Anyone recognize?
