Sounds like a plan. Cassius is an archer at heart, but a lack of standing fighters suggests he stand with Montego.

I suggest retreating to the three way intersection, tossing a few hay bales into the tunnel as obstacles, and setting up a position there where we can attack them from 2 sides.

If they beat us back, then we can all retreat out of the tunnel and try to use the cave mouth as another chokepoint.

I can post that as dialog IC, if you prefer.

Dorin, Farkus, and the two soldiers will follow your lead.

I would obviously like to reunite eventually, but I am trying not to use the information Montego wouldn't know.

Should we try delving deeper into the orc caves below? Or, check over some of these buildings up top, hoping to find some means of healing our wounded and unconscious members?

I think we should fall back from the cave for now. I'd like to go check out those buildings, especially now that we know Montego is up there.

Maybe we could find something useful or recuperate in a building.

I am thinking if we can find some place to rest and regain spells, I can heal some of us to get back in the fight. Don't have enough to heal everyone to full but can get all of us back in the fight.

Alright folks > it took just over a year to wrap this one up. I had a dandy of time. Hope you did too.
I've been toying with the idea of running another chapter in Furyondy or the Shield Lands...or perhaps even in the Yeomanry. There was some interest when I mentioned it in the "What would you like to play or run?" thread a couple of months ago.
Are any of you interested in exploring more of post-war Greyhawk? Let me know, one way or the other, in your private thread. No pressure to keep playing; just wanted to ask.
And whether you wish to continue or not, please divvy up the treasure and gold. You never know when you'll need a character to jump into a game and there was a few good items in those chambers.

As for Clint and Rusty, they will stay on at Fort Critwall, having become a little more battle hardened and eager to keep fighting the forces of Iuz along the Border Watch.
Same goes for Dorin, who takes some of the gold and returns to his forge; content to be a blacksmith again.
Young Farkus is recruited into the Furyondian army and becomes a full-fledged soldier at the fort. Dorin couldn't be more proud.
