This week I am working on my final project for my class. This is usually the time that I say I will not be on much, but then again, last time I said this about 7 or 8 weeks ago, I was on as much if not more... So we will see I suppose Either way, feel free to NPC me as needed in case I am not able to make it on to post in a timely manner, otherwise completely disregard this post Wish me luck, this one is a doozy... and my inner Sheldon Cooper is giving me hell about getting it right since it is one of those classes where despite having a A so far, the final project is designed to make or break you. UGH!

Well, baring seeing something posted in the discussion forums that requires a drastic change, I am turned in and now just waiting on 2 weeks worth of grading to catch up and tell me how I have done. Advanced Methods for Teaching for the Moderately to Severely Disabled was not an easy class and I am glad to have it over! I am doubling up over the summer since I will be at work less, and until then I am going to enjoy having no more classes other than teaching for the rest of May!

You can say that again. This Draught in the East is killing me. Have blown through 75 hours of flight time like nothing. We have had a Wildfire everyday for the last month. Need rain. Normally I am in the Mountains on the Western side of the state but dispatched East to help with the fires.

I got stuck there for 3 days last year. The Hotel they had us in was horrible. They had Police there arresting people all night every night I was there. Won't stay in that one again.

Our 802 Air Tractors usually are there at the Airport during this time of year. They keep the wildfires off the Urban developments. Will let you know. They sent out an email to pack a bag for an extended stay. Our season in the Western part of the state is closing down. Trees are greened up just waiting on the high elevations to catch up. Most likely will be heading that way in May and June.

Morning folks > my apologies for being absent for the past few days.
Back pain and fatigue is no fucking joke.
My doctor released me to return to work today starting with a half-day. So we'll see how that goes.
I will be updating the group thread later today. I love all of your responses...and continually spit coffee on my laptop at Chubby's quips

We are doing end-of-year testing at school...because the State thinks it's a good idea to have final testing during a pandemic.
The last day of school is the 27th, and my last work day is June 4. So after that we'll kick it up a notch.
The final "chapter" is just a few posts away.
Should be fun.

I will be departing tomorrow morning for a 12 day Fire Fighting ordeal in the East. They are suffering from a Draught condition with no rain in sight. Staging out of Kinston but will be all over Eastern North Carolina to where ever the fires are.. Watch for the Yellow Forest Service Huey. Posting will be limited during the day. Will try and catch up each night, when I am not dead tired.

You know, when I decided to run this module, I figured it was fairly straightforward...until I was reading it a bit closer today. It's like they forgot to publish a page or two of the adventure! There is no explanation about how to get somewhere or why certain events happen.
So...you know what that means? I'm gonna have to wing it.
And you know what that means? Your characters are in for a treat
