Asad stops his attack at the urging of his comrades. His sword raised he looks at the skeletons and back to his comrades and back to the skeletons again. He shakes his head to try and clear it and then lowers his sword. "What the hell did I miss?"

I have no interest in fighting dangerous creatures if we have no need to do so. I think heading south is a fine idea. If we are unable to find what we need, we can always go back and deal with the chimeras later if we feel it is necessary.

Emma nods. I agree 100%. Let's put some distance between us and them.Scott308 wrote:Benham Iskandar

Currently with nothing going on there is nothing for me to really post so here is the map of where you roughly all decided to back off too.

Emma points north. Should we try that door before we leave this general area?

Dubb
Dubb turns to look north at Emma's suggestion. "You mean back towards the Chimeras?" Dubb looks unconvinced at the wisdom of that. He keeps drifting towards the south and the door next to the room with the dead halfling.
All this is assuming that down on the map is south.

Abrex
Abrex says, "I think she means north in the hallway my friend Dubb. I'd say check the two north doors in the hall way then check the south doors working westward as we go."

Yes generally speaking the top end of my maps is North.

Asad listens menacingly to the decisions. He desperately wants to seek glory but the black hole in his memory is a little off-putting to the mighty lion. He hears mention of a mythical 'Kimera' and thoughts start to percolate of his crushing victory over such a legendary beast... he runs a finger over the edge of his sword to check it's sharpness.

Dubb
He nods. "Very well. North it is. Lead on Anuzal, if you please." Dubb looks apprehensive, but quickly brightens his mood. "How are you feeling Asad? Any lingering effects from your enchanted sleep?"

Anuzal heads to the north door. Listens then checks for to see if it is trapped or locked.

Asad had a very peaceful sleep the best sleep he has ever had and the most miraculous dreams. He feels very well rested. ravenn4544 feel free to elaborate on that in the typical Asad manner if you wish to.

Checking the Northern Doors: Fools Gold Room
Anuzal moves to the north doors left unchecked in the "gold room" and checks the doors for traps and listens for sounds.
No trap is found on the northern door to the left second up the hall, and nothing is heard. The door is not locked. Opening the door reveals an empty room save for some cobwebs in two corners of the room the only other thing in the room is another door in the northern wall.
Moving up from there to the true northern door no trap is found and nothing is heard of course it is easier to hear when one does not have their fingers in their ears Anuzal recalls afterwards. The door is locked.

Abrex
Abrex stays near Anuzal but out of his way and a arms length back ready to nudge forward and pull him back if necessary.
Abrex comments, "Good work everyone. Let's stay sharp here."

Asad seems to be more awake - but still has a confused look on his face about what's going on - while trying to not look confused. "So what are we looking for in here again? Clearly it isn't Glory with all this sneaking around!"
