For Alex, this has happened early, he just wanted to be pilot, now he is Assistant Lead for Third Shift also - which there is an old saying in Russian: "I would rather my daughter be a prostitute, than my son be the Yefréytor/Gefreiter (Corporal)." He will deal with it, I just found it humorous that it happened.

You have two Tactics skills. "Military" is a bit broad; how about one of Ship, Fleet, Marine, or something else? Given his Int, lots of things are open.

I think "military" is the mongoosian way of saying not-naval, but I will check.

edit:

Specialities:
• Military Tactics: Coordinating the attacks of foot troops or
vehicles on the ground.
• Naval Tactics: Coordinating the attacks of a spacecraft or fleet.


However, I will change it to Infantry, sound good?

Hmm..."Marine" might be better, given your background. Assaulting a ship is a lot different than taking a hill. Most of the time, the hills stay put while you do the assault.

Your call, though. Not sure who wrote MgT, but they need some folks with military backgrounds, it seems.

What positions are taken and what are available? Lawrence needs to pick a job. I was thinking Comm/Sensors using his Computer skill might be a fit. (Pilots and Engineers are usually in high demand.)

can we have a complete deck plan, a blueprint so that we can know where the engine room is, the jump facility, fuel storage and turrets, etc.

I've put out the request to the group, if anyone wants to help. Otherwise, I'll take care of it myself, next week.

For Tiberius' reference, there are ten hard points, but only four turrets installed with anything. None of them work, for different reasons. In previous conferences with FC Cochran, Tiberius was told "Gosh, we should do something about that. Write up a plan and send it my way, will you? I like initiative." Nothing came of it.

Last week Tiberius mentioned something to Chief, who pointed out that cannibalizing parts was against Merchant Marine regulations. However, there has been some inspection activity in the turrets, since they left Barkey's.
